After negotiating with the mechanic to lower the cost (because I talked with people in the community stating that the part itself only costs around $72) they were only able to get it down to $1,600. After deciding I still didnt want to pay that much for the repair, I got Canadian tired to tow my car to Town and Country in Port Carling. The mechanics in Port Carling told me that Canadian Tire didn't even reconnect my breaks in the car before sending it away. I got the quote from Town and Country and they are charging me $300, which includes the reconnection of the breaks and the unsiezing of the car part. So disappointed and infuriated that CT was trying to charge me an arm and a leg for a small fix on my vehicle. Will not be going back there for any future car repairs.

It offers a radical departure from the characteristic big box book stores that have spread like locusts and seem to anchor prime real estate in many of your favourite strip malls. The Bookcase offers a comfortable refuge in which to peruse until ones heart is content. There is zero pressure to purchase and a fireplace with wing backed chairs beckon you to cozy up. You will feel entirely at home here. The primary reasons I couldn't justify a higher rating were only minor but must be mentioned. there was no magazine selection and I know some might say that a traditional bookstore shouldn't offer such, but I love my magazines. Also selection did tend to be limited-which I do understand is simply due to a lack of shelf space. If there was a half star option I would definitely give it a 3.5, yet I simply couldn't go up to a 4 star. the Bookcase is however unquestionably worth a stop. You're looking at about $40 for a new album, which is pretty much standard no matter where you go, but there's some great deals on used ones as well. It is a really open environment, and there's space to look around and flip through all of the different albums in comfort. This, of course, is one of the most important parts of any record store experience. The people in the store seem incredibly kind and delightful, and it is definitely worth stopping by. The only reason you may not have seen it already is because it is slightly farther up main Street than the traffic light most people use as the turnback point. Make sure you keep going until you're across from the gas station so you can experience this place for yourself!

If I could, I would give this place 0 stars. They are breaking the law by not allowing Service Dogs…read morein their stores unless they are carried (explain to me how a Guide Dog is supposed to assist their visually impaired human while being carried... pretty sure this would result in breaking more items than if the dog were actually allowed to do its job and be on the floor). Their store is not accessible to anyone with a disability requiring any medical equipment, as, and I quote from the owners, "the aisles are too narrow". This is a violation of the AODA and likely a violation of fire safety codes as well. The owners are 2 of the rudest people I have ever met. I've never had a more negative experience anywhere. I'm absolutely appalled by the way I was treated; rude, sexist, ableist comments were made. This is absolutely unacceptable behaviour from a business. I'm appealed that they are still open and haven't been shut down with such inexcusable behaviour.
