After the estimate he told us he would come the next day and measure the rooms at 12:30. He never showed up and still hasn't nor called. I would never recommend this business. If this is their customer service I don't foresee it staying open. I have since gone to 101 Flooring in Santa Maria. They have had superior customer service and were over $800. less. My floor was put in less than a week and looks beautiful.

Bear with me...I was working on getting vinyl flooring installed & found something I fell in love…read morewith & purchased. It took two weeks to ship it to the store, none of this was done through Stockdale Tile. I decided to retile my entryway, so I went to Stockdale with a sample of the vinyl flooring and Ryan matched it perfectly with a tile that was in stock & on sale and he has a very good eye as it was the first tile he thought might work. The person I hired to do demolition & installation contacted me the night before he was to do start the work worried about asbestos and had contacted a remediation firm about testing. The approximate amount...$800. My house was built in 2000 and there was an underlayment of roofing felt which was required at the time. After, my initial panic, I called Stockdale Tile to ask them for advice. I had the opportunity to speak to both Ryan & Aaron...in their opinion, given the age of the house, they viewed it as highly unlikely that I had an issue that would require testing and/or remediation. Ryan gave me the name of 3 installers to call, all of whom had been tiling in Bakersfield for years to get additional advice & quotes on the job. One could squeeze my job in within a week. Not the end of my saga...when my new installer went to pick up the materials, the supplier told him without putting in an additional vapor barrier & underlayment it would void my warranty on the flooring...the installer said it didn't need it & it would his warranty if he put down under the flooring. Not wanting to lose either warranty & not knowing what to do, I called Stockdale Tile. Talk about customer service! Aaron called my installer to find out what specific issue he had, I took a sample of the flooring into the store, Aaron took one look at it & identified that it didn't need the extra underlayment as it had an attached pad, he even looked up the product on line. Also the Mohawk rep was in the store & he had never heard of a warranty being voided in the circumstances. Both felt that it was possible I was being upsold for unneeded items for my installation. I made the decision to return the flooring I bought from the other supplier & purchased something similar at Stockdale....of course the tile I had purchased was no longer the perfect match, but Ryan found one that worked with the new flooring & exchanged it out for my previous tile even though it was a higher priced tile. Then, they found carpet that went with both tile & flooring. I can't tell you how different I feel about this project, it was starting to feel like it was going from bad to worse to total disaster. And now, thanks to Stockdale Tile going above & beyond for me with all their help & advice, it feels like everything is back on track & maybe better than it started. Trust me, all my future projects are going to start with the staff at Stockdale Tile!

The showroom is clean and well organized - easy to navigate . The young lady who helped me was knowledgeable and friendly. She listened to what I wanted, showed me some samples , made a few suggestions and I ended up choosing her design! Stockdale tile is the place to go! RELIABLE , friendly and knowledgable - 100% would use again and I definitely recommend.
