Rob and his team do excellent work. I have gotten to know him professionally over the last 18 months and trust his team with the keys to my home to take care of whatever is needed. My floors at home are not carpeted but have seen his work for my clients (carpets, furniture, mold remediation, water removal, etc.) who all rave about the results. Commercial locations I frequent who have switched to Rob's have a much better presentation as a result. I recently engaged them to clean our ducts and leather furniture and couldn't be happier with our experience. read more

While I cannot speak to the quality of the work this company does, I can speak to the quality of the owner's character. Recently a postal worker friend attempting to deliver mail to a client of Rob's Carpet Care, was verbally assaulted by the owner of the company. Evidently, her postal truck was preventing Rob from being able to immediately pull into the client's driveway to park. At that point he jumped out of his van, ran up to the postal truck, and told the driver to "move, you stupid moron!" After that, he got in his van and finished parking. He then exited his van, ran up to the postal truck again, and called the postal worker a "RETARD." My friend then called Rob's Carpet Care to report the incident (not knowing she had been yelled at by Rob himself.) The woman who answered the phone told her "to save her breath. It was the owner of the company and she already knew." She then hung up on the postal worker. Now maybe everyone was having a bad day. But I have never had a day bad enough to yell names at strangers or to deal with customer service in such a unprofessional manner. There are many ways to deal ethically in business, and this lack of character would certainly prevent me from supporting them with my business. read more

I had heard many good things about this company and so when I needed to hire a company to clean the carpets in a rental home my elderly parents had just moved out of, they were my first choice. Boy! What a mistake! Never ever again. The guy that showed up tried to tell us that the carpets were "too far gone" and that it would cost $1000.00 for him to clean them! He was very rude. I will never call, recommend or even think about hiring this company! read more

We were quite pleased with Rob's carpet care. I needed to have my mothers home cleaned while she was recovering from an illness. The house looked fantastic and I was very satisfied with their service. It was a big help to bring her home from her health care stay to a home that was more that ready for her return. A previous reviewer spoke to the lack of character of the owner Rob. Rob is dishonest, lacks integrity, is an outright liar and did an awful job cleaning my carpets. At the end I still had dirty carpets that were now covered in stinky chemicals. Here is what he did: using a spray bottle my carpets were sprayed with a stinky chemical and then vacuumed. The stains and soiling remained as did several large pieces of debris. What was also left behind was an offensive chemical smell which he assured me was safe for my babies who crawl on the floor. I think he was likely lying about this too. A moving company soiled our carpets and were supposed to pay the bill. Rob lied to me and said he would submit it to them but didn't. Then had a minion call who refused to give her name and called me someone who just doesn't like to pay what they owe. read more

I know it easy to write a bad review about a company but I wish you would have contacted us directly about this situation. thank you for taking the time to write a review about Robs Carpet Care. I am Rob the owner and would like to respond to your friends complaint. It is always hard to talk about an incident when you are not present to see what actually happened. I will give a brief summary of what happened that day. but first let me apologize to everyone involved especially the lady driving the postal van. I don't recall calling anyone any names but when you are angry things do tend to happen. when we pulled up the to interception of 450 N and 250 E My tech stopped at the 4 way stop sign to turn left onto 250 E the mail truck was directly across from us at the stop sign. We attempted to let the mail truck go first as the home we were going to was the first one. The mail lady was sitting at the stop sign sorting through her mail (a no no in the postal service) not paying any attention to us. So I told my tech to go ahead. and as we were attempting to back into the drive way she came driving up behind us and almost hit our van. I got out to tell her to back up as we were sitting cross ways in the road and had to back into the drive way. She Immediately got belligerent and threatened to call the police and that I was blocking the mail from being delivered and it was a felony. I have to confess it did make me mad and I may have called her a moron at some point. But I am thinking to myself here what is wrong with this lady we tried to let her go first so we wouldn't hold her up and she ignored us then when we try to get into the driveway she pulled in behind us and blocked our entry as we were backing up. All she had to do was back up a little and let us finish backing up. I think she just was in a hurry was not paying attention and pulled up on us to fast. She caused the whole incident and then threatened us. She was very hateful and unprofessional to us and unwilling to back her truck up to resolve the problem. When we did back up then she accused us trying to hit her mail truck (that maybe when I called her a moron). But with all that said I ask for forgiveness for any negativity and anger I showed in this case.
