It's well laid out in spite of there being a huge range of stock on display. It was open plan and laid back - in complete contrast to Toys R Us which I've always found more like a toy 'cash and carry' where the stock is piled high and you're wandering down aisles 9 ft high! We couldn't find an item and my daughter asked a member of staff who, in spite of explaining she actually worked in the cafe, went out of her way to find out where the item was and to accompany us to the correct aisle. By this time baby Lexi was due a feed so we decided to have a cup of tea whilst my daughter dealt with feeding and nappy changing. Considering that parents are "a captive audience" as it were, the prices for a pot of tea and a slice of cake or a muffin (all priced at £1.50) was very good value. In addition, if you have 2 adult items, there's a display of food/drink that your child can choose from which is totally free! There's a separate baby feeding area (my daughter was most taken with the nursing chair!) and the toilets and separate nappy change area are clean and well lit. Whilst sitting having our tea and cake, my daughter happened to drop the baby's muslin. A cafe assistant who happened to be clearing a nearby table immediately came over and picked it up for us. All in all, I was very impressed by the friendly staff, excellent in-store facilities and would highly recommend it to any mums-to-be or anyone seeking baby equipment or childrens toys.

It is all very good quality but is a bit more expensive than a lot of the other high street shops. They also provide a selection of maternity wear. The shop is laid out well so nice and easy to walk round with a pram (which is very important!)

She is a pleasure to work with, and this is why: - She is more organised than I could ever be...so she helped guide me and gave awesome suggestions (with the help of pinterest) - I had a vague idea of what I thought'd look pretty, but she took my ideas and improved them until my wedding venue looked amaaazing. Her flowers made the dusty old barn (wedding venue) look fresh, and smell lovely. - My bouquet (and my bridesmaid bouquets) were sooo gorgeous! - She even made a flower chandelier(!) - She loves vintage pots and glasses so her flower arrangements don't look formal or boring. I loved that! - She gets the most beautiful flowers! Seriously my light blue delphiniums and peachy pink roses were perfect. Also, she managed all this why also being a bridesmaid. This lady is a multitasking queen! Flower workshops: Recently Miss Victoria's Floral Emporium has moved to a new studio in East Dulwich, and I was lucky enough to attend one of her first floral crown making workshops. It was such a giggle! I got to make friends with a lovely group of ladies over tea and cake, and then Lisa showed us all how to make beautiful headdresses. Our workshop yesterday was a special (free) trial, but I think this would be SUCH a cool thing to do on a hen party, or a birthday...or just for fun if you have creative, flower-loving friends. This little gift shop reminds me of a school craft fair stall. There are some lovely cards,…read morepostcards and wrapping paper and it's in a good spot just to fly into if you're in the area and need a decent Birthday card. I especially like the vintage ones and most are under £2. The rest though is all a bit random and cheap looking. They do have a contemporary jewelry section, but nothing special unfortunately. Shops like these have the strangest selection and at the moment they have a huge container of rubber ducks on the counter. It's obviously trying to attract tourists on their way back from the British Museum, but for cheap cards it's a find.
