From the moment you walk in you are greeted by Mary, Lyndsay, or Kyle with professionalism and kindness. Nelle Youel was my PT and she was fantastic! She knew when to push me and when to ease up. She gave me a tailored Home Exercise Plan to help me continue to therapy at home. By the time I had my follow up appointment with my surgeon she had me at 130° range of motion! My doctor was absolutely stunned and said that I had the best range of motion he had ever seen 6 weeks post surgery! That should have been a big red flag for me. I was misdiagnosed and told it was just a sinus infection. I wound up being admitted to Advocate Good Shepherd the next day and it was determined I had optical nerve palsy which required treatment and three months to recover. When a hospital is using PAs in place of actual medical doctors in the ER, you know they are trying to cut costs and pay more attention to the bottom line than their patients.
