Little Gingerbread really made me feel comfortable that my baby was in good hands. I loved that they would say "No Thank you" and referred to everyone as "friends ". "We bite food, Not friends" was a common one used for my little teether. They worked with him patiently trying different techniques while making sure that the other children were safe. My son at now 5 years old still talks about how he liked little Gingerbread when we very occasionally drive past it. It took me by surprise since I never pointed it out to him after we left. The director Stephanie, Beth, Kristi, Brianna, Caitlyn, Kylie, Tasha, Ben and many more were so amazing with my little guy.

My two year old opened a book of shapes the other day and read it to me front to back (even…read moreoctagon!). We did not realize how many shapes he knew, and this is a direct testament to how amazing the teachers are at Goddard. The bar was pretty low for us when we started; we were hoping to find a new daycare that would minimally change a diaper more than twice a day. And we have gotten so much more!! I saw one teacher cry tears of joy because her student was graduating to the next level; that's how much she cared about her kids. The first time my son pooped on the potty, every single teacher at pickup (and the director!!) told me how they celebrated with him! I'm so grateful for the amazing curriculum and the caring staff. This is the village we didn't know we needed, and I'm grateful for everything they provide.

The front desk lady left my girlfriend's voicemail and never mentioned that there was a wait list for the first openings in summer. I especially like how her teachers always take my concern or advice very seriously. They always follow through. They are also curious about how we handle certain situations at home so that we can keep everything on the same page between school and home. I think that's very important when it comes to learning and discipline for kids at this age. One thing we particularly enjoy is that our daughter likes to show off what she learns from school. Everyday she surprises us with new words, new dance moves, new songs (even though she could only sing a small part of the song but it was enough for us to guess what song she learned in school). And she has become a child with great manner even when she is upset, she would still say "no please". Another thing I noticed is that her teachers enjoy buying cool books and toys from resale stores. They brought in new books/toys so frequently to help the children learn something new all the time. I thought that was part of their job responsibilities but turned out it was voluntary and they enjoy doing so. Kudos to her lead teachers Ms. Melissa and Ms. Kris, and all the other teachers who fill in to help here and there.

I wasn't sure if all clubs were included in the nationwide access. Fortunately, I was able to visit this club with my current membership. Kathryn was the staff at the front and was very friendly and knowledgeable. She informed me of what qualifies and not. From what I remember as long as there isn't a third party payer involved with your payment, your adult membership should be included in nationwide access - with exception of some individual clubs. I was able to join step class and had fun with Bonnie and her crew. Fast and efficient! Got a workout in while on vacation and I couldn't be happier.
