Everything is great here. Food is amazing if a bit more expensive than what you expect. Ironically their great selection of desserts is actually cheaper than the average restaurant dessert, so it balances out the cost of the entrees. The Service is really good too - they're attentive without interrupting your dining experience too much. Tucked in the very far corner of the strip mall, the sign is playing peek-a-boo with a tree. Gluten free choices are salads, Greek dishes, or steaks without sauce. The souvlaki is made gluten free with lemon, topped with plenty of dried oregano. Chicken skewer was a bit dry and over-charred on the grill, but adding a side of tzatziki saved the meal. Lamb skewer was overcooked. A real shame. Lots of gristle & dry. Served with baked potato with traditional toppings, real bacon bits, butter, sour cream and green onions. Unfortunately, looked like the green onions had been sliced up a day or two earlier. It's a family run restaurant... there might be family around. ;-) One free refill on sodas/iced tea. We were passing through Lloydminster on our holidays and looked for a place to eat that had some gluten free options for the Celiac in my life. I'm not sure why we chose this place over others. I think it sounded like there was lots of menu options so there would be a good chance finding something gluten-free or that could be modified at least. I had the Philadelphia Chicken. I thought I would try something I haven't had before. My partner had a souvlaki dish. The food was okay but nothing special. I wasn't thrilled by my meal but I wasn't turned off by it either. I just felt like I was eating home cooking and not great home cooking, just average home cooking. I was also disappointed to find out that you only get 1 fountain pop refill. I haven't come across that scenario in many years now. Pretty much everyone gives you free refills on that sugar water. If you want a comfortable homestyle meal and want to have a huge menu to select from then this may be the restaurant you are looking for. If you are looking for a slightly fancier meal or something more upscale then you may want to keep looking. read more

Wow! What an excellent place! Enjoyed the lamb souvlaki and was cooked perfectly. Added mint sauce and tzatziki and some dijon ... a tasty rodeo in my mouth! Loved the romaine greek salad with lots of olives, ripe tomatoes, cukes, and feta cheese. The greek beer was excellent. The lemon soup as good as any other I've had. The cookie crumb cheese was also wicked awesome! Can't wait to return ASAP!!! read more

Will never go back there after the way I was treated! I ordered chicken fettuccini Alfredo and found it tasted burnt even though it didn't look burnt. It tasted really bad and when I complained they said I wasn't allowed Back because they thought I was trying to get out of paying for my meal or Something which I still paid for it because I'm not like that. I just expect getting food that doesn't taste burnt. read more

A coworker suggested something simple and close to their hotel, and Mr. Bill's it was. Bill's actually looks a lot smaller on the outside than it is inside. There were 8 of us, and not everybody could fit at the large table. Oh well. A few of us split off to the next table. I ordered the chicken cacciatore. It was pretty tasty, though I suspect the chicken wasn't made to order. The service was great. After the meal, we pulled a couple chairs to the main table for a small talk on what the plan was for the next work day. We were visited by who I suspect to be the co-owner and wife of the owner, asking if everything was good and offering to pull up a small table for the extra people. It wasn't offered before, likely because it is in the main pass for servers entering the other dining room with orders and the restaurant was having the dinner rush. She was very pleasant and the extra show of service is always a plus. It's a decent place to bring the family, tucked into a corner of a small strip of shops. The food, though not great, was decent. Their tzatziki is incredibly good, and has a perfect balance of flavour. I know this because I was dipping my garlic bread in my coworker's every time she turned her head. My family has been going to Mr Bills for a few years now, since it was suggested by a friend. We have also suggested it to others as well. The food is always well prepared and presented, always enjoy the meal. The steaks are always amazing (med rare) so juicy and full of flavor. The chicken dishes are as well. Though for shrimp I do wish they had smaller ones, but that's just my preference (lol). When we go in with our son the kids choices also look equally as good, and love the baby plate they offer it is way better than most places that just give you potatoes. The spinach appy is amazing a must try! Sad you only get 4 pieces though but so worth it. The service has always been good, though some more attentive than others, but we are still served well. Also most of the time when we go it is fairly busy so not having our waters or drinks tended to as often is understandable, as well as waiting a little longer for our meal. Last night was busy but very impressed at how we didn't wait long between foods. Also I quite love the fact that we always seem welcome when we go, this is by staff and owners. The restaurant is tucked in a corner, like a hidden gem. I wish it was bigger as Fridays and Saturdays if you do not reserve a spot than you either wait a long time before able to be seated or you leave to go else where we have done both a few times. Also I have noticed if you have a bigger group it is best to reserve a table so they can accommodate properly as the size of the seating area there is only a few spots that can be comfortably moved with out disrupting the flow. I seen one group that had probably 12 people. Love this place, also last nights steak resulted in me saying yum multiple times after many bites. read more

Good service. Very clean and nice atmosphere... appears to be recently renovated... I paid a little more then I would have expected for bacon and eggs but then again that was not on the menu and I asked if it would be ok to have. All in all nice place. read more
