The owner is unhinged! Regarding those emails..... Friday night I emailed Mr. Caron: "Hi Glenn, Just an FYI. - 4 azaleas & 2 rhododendrons completely dead. Only plants we are having issues with." He responded that he believes a dog is urinating on the plants. As I subsequently told him, my dogs are on an electric fence and UNABLE to go in the gardens. The plants are also in different parts of the garden. What is most concerning is how the owner has handled a customer disagreeing with him. Rather than keeping this about the plants and his guarantee, he began personally attacking my character because I challenged his explanation and left an honest review. These are emails I've received from him: "You feel better now with your lies of omission on the ratings sites? Im not worried we have many other counter reviews and i reply to all none 5 star reviews. Let the people decide! You will eventually pay for your lawlessness and defamation. I had a hunch you were like this" And: "Good bye Enough, Live with your consequences, I am ! I stick with what I have stated and NO it was not all your dogs it was YOU too with your neglect !I also could see very well how you are not all there from when I showed up to see that you destroyed most of the plants that were in your yard without consulting any experts to try and save replace or transplant any of them. You had very expensive plants there and you had no idea what to do with them . Your improper process and plans regarding your own landscape is very evident yet you seem to be the expert...ENOUGH , i have no further need to communicate with a character like yours. ! As for "neglect": again, most of our plants came from Scenic Nursery and are thriving. We also transplanted lilies & hostas that were here when we bought the house, and they're thriving. Our soaker hose runs 2 hours a day, plus we physically water. No neglect here! I stand by my honest review of my experience. The owner's own emails speak for themselves. I would also encourage anyone considering Scenic Nursery to read the other reviews from dissatisfied customers -- and, just as importantly, read Glenn's responses to those reviews. How a business owner responds when a customer is unhappy says a lot. After receiving the emails above and seeing how other negative reviews have been handled, I think customers can draw their own conclusions about the professionalism and integrity being demonstrated here.

I ordered 20 yards of three-quarter minus and what showed up was 11 yards. Now that was mapped out with a Commercial GPS while it was in a pile and I got around 12 yards. After I put it in the ground, I could tell exactly what it was from how deep by the square footage which is very simple and that's where I found he had only delivered me 11.5 yards instead of 20 I called and tried to explain there might be a mistake but just like every other post on here where someone complains they do not apologize and they make you the consumer feel dumb and tell you that you don't know what you're talking about... . Please go and do what I did,get your dirt or whatever you need delivered to your house from Dirt Dr 603-229-3200 they are fabulous. I've ordered multiple things and every time they've dropped off exactly the amount that I ordered. I expect a review back from the owner with some kind of excuse on how I don't know what I'm doing and how it's anything but their fault... Buyer beware!!!! Be very careful!!!! And remember, we're not talking about one or 2 yards we're talking about almost half of what I ordered so that's a big discrepancy, but I'm sure they'll blame it on me.

What was done did not match the invoice, which is in part my fault for not asking them to change it. They fixed my steps and completed the drainage system, which so far is working fine thank god. We have yet to have a really big rain storm but so far so good. Maybe I can now get rid of the sandbags in front of my driveway! My security system monitored their progress and the more experienced gentleman really showed care in his work, and mentored the younger crew on the right way to get things done so it looked professional. I would use them again, but do the following prior: Contact dig safe which is free to find any buried cables or electrical. Rope off ahead of time the leach fields so they won't drive over them. (Not that they did on my property, just smart to do). Ensure the invoice matches exactly what you agreed to for legal reasons prior to making a payment. 7/29/18 So it's been a couple months and I love the work. The drainage is outstanding and I no longer have to worry about being at work and hearing about a freak down pour in the area! Thank you guys!
