I had a crab soup which was surprisingly delicious, similar to a lobster bisque. Fresh bread started us off, warm from the oven and soft inside. I chose a special of the day, the fish was tender and flavourful, melting off the bone and infused with lemon and capers. My partners dish of hake with risotto was absolutely delicious, something I'd order if I were to go back. All In all a lovely dining experience in a scenic location. It was a huge plate of food that was difficult to finish, but the combination of sweet and spicy was somewhat addictive and kept me digging right back in for another bite. The duck offers a wide selection of desserts (which were hard to pass up)...I wanted something light so I had a single scoop of local ice cream to cleanse my palate.
