Then Josh called me the owner of Rockford Rides and and told me that the receipt says no refunds after they charge your cc pretty shady. I would never recommend this company. They stoled my money. And just wanted to argue. they must be pretty desperate to steal from single women. read more

Rockford Rides was recommended to us by our wedding venue to provide transportation for our guest to and from our hotel and the venue. Initially, I was in contact with Josh, and he was a great help in setting up our trips. He shared his insight and experience with the area, and he worked with me to accommodate for the separate, distanced parking lot our venue had. As the wedding date neared, they reached out to make sure all the details were set. The driver the day of gave me a courtesy text so that it was one less thing I needed to worry about that day. Rude and unhelpful. Said they could not provide transportation, and that I would not find another form of transportation. One phone call to another company proved that wrong. Avoid. Saying they didn't have anything available would have been sufficient, but then they had to go on and talk about how "no one wants to work because of COVID." This weekend was the second time we have used Rockford Rides. My husband and I are seniors and were traveling to Florida for our granddaughter's first communion. I am handicapped and use a wheelchair. Chicago OHare is very intimidating and getting there used to be limiting. Rockford Rides gave us the safe, secure, scheduled convenience to leave our car at home. Yesterday on our return trip home our 11:00 am flight became a 6:30 pm flight. Because the company and driver follow your flight status they knew and adjusted accordingly! Having Paul's kindness at the end of our very long and aggravating day, was tremendous. We were frazzled and he picked us up and we just relaxed all the way home! Our first experience was at Christmas. Rockford Rides picked our son and his family up at the airport as I was ill. This business charges their customers when they make a reservation, before the time of service & refuses to issue refunds, despite cancellations days in advance. That's a shady way to do business considering most taxi services charge at the time of service. You can get your money back by disputing the charges on your credit card by calling your credit card company. I made a reservation to get a ride to the airport. Something came up & I had to cancel my trip. I called 10 days in advance to cancel my reservation & the woman on the phone told me that Rockford Rides doesn't issue refunds. I advised the woman that I was unaware of this & her answer was "you didn't ask". Save yourself the headache. Don't use this company. read more

Very professional service! We had a large group of friends celebrating a special event and Rockford Rides was absolutely amazing! The luxury Shuttle/limo bus that we used was so beautiful. The interior was full of luxury it had leather seats that all reclined, wood green floors, the lighting was amazing and the music was so fun. They even pulled out a red carpet for my husband and I which made us feel so special. We will definitely use Rockford Rides again in the future read more

I sent you an email on March 31, 2020 at 9:41pm requesting to cancel my reservation for April 25, 2020 because the venue cancelled our event. I contacted you as soon as the venue notified us of the cancellation. I requested the cancellation 3 weeks and 4 days prior to the transport. Wife was charged $695 for a ride to ohare in a Sedan (not a limo). She was never quoted, it just had her put in all her info and then she got the email with the price and it was charged. She immediately called to cancel and they said it was non refundable. She talked to the smug guy on the commercials and he told her to take it as a learning experience. She ended up getting a partial refund but the 10 minutes from reservation to cancellation wasn't worth the $395 they kept less in life dealing with crooks. Refer them, what a joke!!! Business is as sleezy as their spokesman. We took our kids to and from the airport in a limo for less than half that. read more

They made the whole process easy for my parents. My parents flight arrived early and Rockford Rides was there to pick them up right away. The limo was very nice and got us to and from our destination on time. The poor experience happened when the "Red Carpet Service" as promised when booked, did not happen. This was a retirement/birthday celebration. The driver didn't try to help any of the more senior/less able-bodied assistance into the limo. We had to ask if there was a step stool as the limo was too high to get into for some. The "rolled out red carpet" was a red throw rug size piece of carpet remnant. I was told that pictures would be taken both outside and inside the limo to capture the entire experience. These pictures were supposed to then be sent to me. One group picture was taken outside the limo on arrival. The driver had to be asked to please take another in case the 1st one didn't come out. No pictures were taken at our destination or in the limo. When I asked the driver about taking more pictures, he said that he wasn't told he had to do that, so he didn't. I never even ended up getting the only total group picture of the limo ride. Renting the limo was extremely costly so I expected to get the services that I was told I'd receive. When the owner was contacted about the difference between the explanation of "red carpet service" and what was received he initially denied that I would have been told these things, made excuses, and was condescending. He finally apologized and said he would find the 2 pictures that were taken and get them to me. This never happened and it's been a month! I would not recommend using a company that doesn't respond to a customer's concerns. This review could have easily been a 5 star if the concerns were addressed, the pictures gotten to me, or at least a small refund offered. read more

Warning - read the reviews first. Did not inform of the $25 cancellation fee upfront (I wanted to change from a return to a one-way more than 12 hours in advance but was so upset by the response that I cancelled the whole booking). I have used multiple other limo services for years and have never encountered this type of attitude. The owner's Standard response is to persistently speak of "facts" and try to infer this is standard practice rather than prioritizing Customer care so no doubt a borderline aggressive review response will be posted (I see the other responses below match the verbal response I just got).
