Had several windows replaced with the intentions of replacing a sliding window with a double hung in my upstairs bedroom so I could put a window airconditioner in. I was not informed the double hungs would only open 11 1/2 inches. I bought a portable onem but the window kit does not work in the window either. I have called a few time to see if it's possible to replace one window that would open to fit a window air conditioner, but never received a call back from this company. read more

Rockford Siding and windows is an extremely horrible company doesn't have any communication whatsoever from beginning of the project. It took three months to get scheduled. Keep in mind they have my deposit in hand Second of all, they subcontract all their work. They originally stated that everything is done in House, which is completely false information their subcontractors don't know what they're doing. They had told me they were going to show up on a Wednesday morning never did Showed up the following day didn't do much of anything unloaded all the garbage In my yard, all screws, nails, and Debris third day was Friday finally started Removing Siding Saturday still removing Siding and install some of it but made them remove it because they were not putting the paper Sunday they said they were coming didn't end up showing long story short they took two weeks to complete and still managed to leave half ass work and not clean up at all will never hire this company they also don't pull i permits like they said they were going to very disappointed in the workmanship I Owe a concrete company and this is the worst company I have ever encountered read more

We requested quotes for gutters for our home. We ended up getting gutters and siding as well as a new front door/screen installed by Rockford Siding. We initially had trouble with the contractors breaking 2 of our outdoor lights and having to get new ones. We also had a brand new fire pit/table that the workers decided to use as their work station and scratched it all up. In addition, they were supposed to re-wrap our windows as part of the quote. Being that they were going to re-wrap the windows, the contractors were obviously not too careful when they removed the old siding. They chipped off a lot of the wood frame around the windows, but I wasn't too concerned because they would be covered. Well, when the workers started to cover the windows, the guy we dealt with told them to stop because it wasn't part of the deal. My husband called him back and we showed him all the chunks of chipped wood and paint around the windows and asked why he didn't have them covered as promised. He acted as if he didn't recall. Instead he made a comment that the siding looks good. I told him that the windows were an eyesore and I wanted it fixed. After a lot of back and forth they finally fixed it. They also gave us the money to get a new fire pit. The reason for my 2 star rating is because we recently had water come in through the roof. Mind you, we have just had the siding done a little more than a year ago. We called our insurance company and they sent a contractor out to look at the roof. What the contractor took pictures of was the work that was completed around the chimney. As you can see in the photos below, it was never fixed correctly. There is no way that it should look like this after one year. We had a couple of days with really heavy rain and water got in through the areas that weren't done right. My husband called Rockford Siding to have them take a look and to have them fix it. They called later and told us that they would fix it for $400. You made the mistake so you should fix it for free. We go it fixed by the contractor that our insurance company sent out because we no longer trust Rockford Siding for the above mentioned as well as the things I haven't mentioned. I will never use them for anything and will be sure to tell all my neighbors, friends and family to stay away from them if you value your home. Do not use Rockford Siding. Their team was able to correct a few issues we were having. First we had water leaking at our front door. They pulled the old siding and resealed it, ending our water issues. Next they reused some of that siding to patch a different area, the old siding matched better vs new siding. It was a clever fix read more

I am happy with my windows and the work that was done. I am also very happy that they were able to resolve an issue that had been around after the windows had been installed, hidden for over a year.
