The nurse called the police to complain my injury was shaking, twitching when she tranquilized me and I not even listen or talk to her when sedated. She called more police and brought police into room to show how I not even listen when she really do talk out loud to me. The nurse as a Dr tried to say I was just drunk but breathalzer was 000. When awakened in locked unit, staff from Janet Wattles and med students all stared and nobody ask or say anything, again. They were trying to get ins co to believe they MD and get payment for me, but police not do that or understand why call and can not arrest for stare think and act like it the victim as most staff often does, unless pregnant or in labor, they wait until not have baby with you to be mentally abusive act like it you and then call police, again. After 8 days, a police officer came and I followed them out as they not know I was drunk patient for not really drunk or abusive like they said. Later, that day I had corrective surgery on orthopedic injury at St. Anthony, then went home that afternoon. The staff would have kept me in psychiatric for as long as insurance say they will pay for as staff of med students, psychology students, and new hire nurses want to study. From what I understand lots of staff swear, lie, complain if not drink alcohol, believe they sick when not (hypochondriac) and project that issue onto patients who are sick, and/or injured.

It was very traumatic for me and every day going to work, I was reminded of what happened. They said, I was frequently late. They said I was spacing out. They said so much garbage about me behind my back. They would have a hard time concentrating too if they were in my shoes. Fast forward years later. I'm married to a wonderful man with an awesome father who grew to be like my dad. One day my father-in-law was having a stroke. We took him to the ER which was now Javon Bea hospital. I told the lady at the front desk that my father-in-law was having a stroke. She told us to take a number and sit down. Take a number? Really? An hour later, he passed out in the waiting room. The nurse came running out after I frantically went up to the window and asked me what happened. I told her that I told the girls at the window 1 hour ago we think please having a stroke and they told me to take a number and have a seat. She was very rude and acted like we some nerve complaining. My father-in-law passed away. This health system has been horrible for decades. I thought maybe it had gotten better over the years but I was wrong. Don't ever take your loved one there or work there.

She suffers with Sickle Cell Anemia and he called a just a drug seeker. Her last visit ended on December 3, 2025 when she asked to go home because she could no longer tolerate the barrage of insults hurled at her from Dr. Ghani. He told my niece that no doctor at UW Health Hospital wanted to treat her. This behavior is inexcusable and will not be tolerated any longer. Dr. Ghani needs to face some professional repercussions about this.

When I've had…read morecolonoscopies in the past at other facilities, they've allowed the patients to have a curtained off section after the procedure so that that patient can try to relieve the gas that's on their stomachs. Not so at Javon Bea. You are awakened with a LOUD voice, which completely startles you, then put into a room with a nurse or nurses with no hope of being able to release that gas. So you go home with a very bad stomach ache. Otherwise, the staff could not have been kinder. I left a message for the department manager about this, but she never returned my call. This is the only thing that I feel needs to be improved about this department.

I wasnt even asked prior if i was ok or not with that. After waiting 2 hours and seeing no movement went in asked how much longer. They could not tell me they have no wait times goes by severity which i u derstand stroke heart attack is serious but I was also in pain and it was getting worse. Talked to another person who was smirking while talking to me like I was joking so I asked for someone in charge n charge nurse repeat the same thing. I could wait for anywhere 2-6 hours to be seen. Asked if they could at least do ct while I wait they said there too busy. I left. I better not be charged ill call my indurance to not pay them. I drove 45 minutesto another hospitalwho took me back in 20 minutes n had CT with an hour of being there. Nice polite caring staff compared to this hospital. No wonder they got a bad rating. They put an adhesive bandage on thin broken skin- causing more damage. One night my mom waited over an hour and 1/2 for them to answer her call light then they hurt her legs while transferring her. We have video in the room of the whole thing. The facility is dirty and broken down. They leave feces in the bedpan in the sink or on the toilet all day. They don't change the sheets or pillow cases. They don't clean the patient or help them brush their teeth. There are too many issues to list. This place should be closed down! GO ANYWHERE ELSE.

I arrived at MercyHealth's McFarland Rd. urgent care facility with an actively bleeding head injury…read morejust as the doors automatically locked. One of the staff (I believe he was a nurse) refused to let me in and told me all the doctors were gone. Apparently, I am to believe that they all just disappear at closing time, though the parking lot was full of cars. In short, patients should know that MercyHealth staff will quite literally leave a patient bleeding and untreated in their parking lot so they can go home on time. Since MercyHealth's ER was closest, I went there next. I was taken to a triage room, where I sat for over two hours after a nurse checked me in. My wound was irrigated with saline solution, topical and injection lidocaine was administered, and the wound was glued shut. Total hands-on time with nurse and doctor combined was about 10 minutes. A pile of supplies which were never used were brought into my room. I will never know if I was charged for them (probably yes). For this 10 minutes of treatment, I have been billed over $1500. Thankfully, the gross negligence on the part of their urgent care staff was free of charge. Rockford, if you need an urgent care facility, use another medical system. If you need an ER, go to OSF or Swedes. MercyHealth represents everything that is wrong with healthcare in America, and people deserve better.

She explained the procedure thoroughly. I had concerns about reacting to the dye. She explained why that was unlikely but did not dismiss my anxiety. White supremacy comments from a few staff and mental health nurses stating excessive active alcoholic comments about how they drink, know to manage, and not need to hear people say what they think or feel as a patient, because already know that. Also, they state untreated pain patients drink too much alcohol when police, med staff have no alcohol on breath or in blood, just pain patients that can not stand or walk normal when they are not able to continue high doses of Advil..ibuprofren.
