She took the time to get us comfortable with our horses, I had Montana and my wife had Sonny, and we fed them treats, she showed us how to saddle them up properly, and patiently explained how to properly ride and handle our beautiful horses. She then led us on their scenic trail through flower-bedded fields, hilly horse paths, and by a scenic lake all while she took hundreds of pictures of us throughout our journey to cherish for years to come. Carrie has a beautiful farm, stable, and even an indoor area for riding lessons and parties. Her horses are all beautiful, well-kept, trained to handle all level of riders, and obviously well-loved and cared for. I highly recommend Misty Hollow for everyone, no matter which experience you choose to partake in (trail riding, lessons, parties, equestrian, etc). I would give this more than 5 stars if I could. The weather was in the high 70's ... not too bad for us humans but the staff at LSP made sure their horses were sprayed down and wore a protective cover over their ears, eyes and head which I'm assuming is to keep them from getting burnt by the hot sun. This level of care of their horses is exactly the type of institution that I love to support. You can tell they love and understand their horses. The entire staff was engaging and a gentleman named Rodney was superb. He made our experience an amusing one with his knowledge of the horses and their personalities. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone! P.S. Got the pleasure of seeing what they called the "biggest horse" at the stable. His name is Norbit and he reminded me of one of the horses you in see in Budweiser commercial. Definitely a sight to see!

They also had a couple of fall lessons over the last few years. She tried to book lessons for a weekend in October and was very aggressively pursued by a young teenager giving lessons to book. Although the price was now much higher, she decided to book 2 half hour lessons for the girls ($200). She was charged $2,500 for some package. The teenager had referred to a package but it was not clear to my daughter that she was being asked to sign up. How do you charge a person that amount without any indication that this charge is being applied to review? What kind of sales strategy is this to make young teenagers hound clients to lure them into a package deal that is not fully explained and charged to their account without giving them the opportunity to review charges and agree to them? This is a scam!

The outdoor ring is really nice. The crews are always maintaining the property. The horses are really well kept. There are many horses for all different levels of riders. There are numerous pastures for the horses. The barns are always clean and tidy. The staff is top notch. They are always there to help you and guide you. The coaches are the best! There is an IEA team. The stable also hosts many shows throughout the year. Highly recommend if you want to nice place to ride.
