The donuts were warm, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Paired with hot apple cider it's a classic fall treat. Don't skip the apple fritters which are sweet, crispy, and loaded with flavor. As for the fun activities: Pedal cars are at the top of the list & turned into a full on race for the kids The corn maze and tree maze were cleverly designed. Both fun and challenging enough. So many pumpkins to pick from & you can borrow one of the wagons near the entrance to tote your pumpkins/belongings around The animals were a hit with the younger kids. Super cute and well cared for. Tons of games, hoops, and activities to keep everyone busy. The café had great snacks and drinks when we needed a break The jump trampoline and zip lines added a burst of energy and adventure to our visit and a hit!!! There's truly something here for everyone from toddlers to grandparents. We left with full hearts (and a dozen donuts). Highly recommend spending a day here (they have season pass so check that out too) you'll leave with great memories and probably a sugar rush!!! However, the woman at the front desk in the gift shop was rude. She was annoyed that we wanted to purchase a tree late in the day (we called to make sure it was OK to arrive at 4:30pm before we arrived). She made a comment about "the next time someone calls about coming in at 5pm I'm telling them no" right in front of us. We usually purchase items from the gift shop in addition to the tree but, after that encounter, we left without shopping (loss on their part as we normally spend $100-$200 in the gift shop). We'll have to consider whether or not we return next year for a tree or go somewhere else.

We were on the hunt for flowering shrubs and Sollecito Nursery happened to be on the way to the one…read morewe had focused on. What a fortunate decision it was to make a quick u-turn to go back to Sollecito's. TLDR: Great selection, outstanding plant knowledge/experience, terrific customer experience. Choose this nursery not others nearby. Soon after parking Nancy approached to ask if we needed help finding anything. We were looking for relatively obscure plants which they didn't have however she suggested we all check in with someone else at the nursery (more on that in a moment). They did have beautiful varieties of butterfly bushes from which to choose. They were all healthy looking with many buds. Nancy explained maintenance and that included a cutting the plant (it's really a perennial , she explained) each April because the new growth will have the flowers each year. When we expressed concern that we may not be at the camp until May each year, she said that it would simply delay the new growth and therefore the initial blooms. Nancy scooped our selection up for us and we headed to the office to pay. Once there, Nancy asked Eric about those obscure plants. In particular, the Bloomerang Lilac that supposedly is hardy for our zone and blooms twice (spring and late summer). Eric said that they had stocked Bloomerang a previous year but the plants did not do well - didn't bloom twice and weren't hardy over the winter. Since we had read such positive reviews about it, we discussed for a bit and Eric had insightful perspectives including the possibility that the it could be worth another try. We paid for it he butterfly bush and to add to the wonderful experience we had already had, Nancy walked us back to the car, put plastic down on the floor and loaded the plant for us. What gems she, Eric, and Sollecito Nursery are! Thanks, we will be back and obviously will recommend you to others.

The prices are all really good and they staff are extremely knowledgable. We are going to buy a house very soon and have an idea about the layout and design. We had no problem openly giving them a budget because experts need those to work. I highly recommend coming here. They have so much stuff and it's so fun. I really can't find the words to describe it other then what I have said already.

I went during their Fall Festival/ Clayscapes Pottery Market and both events were run well and laid out wonderfully. One side of the garden center hosted the Fall Festival, which had lots of family friendly activities, a Birds of Prey demonstration, and cute photo ops for kids (and adults). The other side had rows and rows of talented artists with their works of art on display. I thought the greenhouse was a lovely setting for this beautiful market.

Boyfriend and I made the switch from a bigger apple orchard this year to Owen Orchards. How…read moredelightful! Such a family feel. The orchard was clearly marked and well-maintained. There were knowledgeable staff around willing to answer any and all questions. The trailer was back up to the orchard frequently and we were able to head back down pretty much as soon as we wanted to. It was not nearly as crowded as other places we've been and we enjoyed that. Cute chickens running around was a bonus. Don't skip out on the warm, fresh apple cider donuts or a pint of cider - so yummy and a great way to end the day apple picking!
