Never knew this was here, had a nice visit. I love wood and natural supplies. I used to fiddle alot with wood. Not the cute animal carver type. More of human anatomy and critters. Been meaning to get into traditional lure making. I already know my way around 3d design and carving 3d objects. I will come back later to give it a proper look. I walked around and saw they offer classes for wood shop related n im actually interest. I don't have my own work shop yet. So far im waiting till i can rent a nice garage n setup one i got some furniture i want to build. They got many types of wood and limber cuts, a hell a lot of equipment and dyes. *this review is only about their charcuterie board workshop* My friend has gotten really into woodworking lately and decided to celebrate her birthday by doing one of the workshops offered by Rockler. They have a few different classes, and the one we chose was to do a charcuterie board which was a 2-day class (spread between a week while the epoxy dried). I expected that we'd all do a similar board with the same wood, design, and simply choose our own epoxy color. Instead, it was highly customized! We got to choose a type of wood (or more), and plan out how to design it. For example some of us decided to use a couple different pieces of wood to do a more unique look. My husband and I were the most amateur woodworkers of the group, so we stuck to a more basic design, but I love how it turned out! The problem is I don't want to ruin it with charcuterie since it looks so pretty lol. Otherwise, I'm giving it a 4 instead of a 5, because there was some slight confusion with scheduling. But overall we had a good time. read more

We have been a long time customer of Kennesaw store and spent$$$$ in this store. Unfortunately, when our 1yr 3 mo $300 shop vac broke, they would not replace. They encourage you to buy their brand but do not stand behind products. They lost a long time customer because they choose to not do the right thing! So now we will be driving a little further and buying a Woodcraft and this amazing woodworking store in Virginia Highlands. read more

I never thought that I would feel compelled to write a review about a woodworking supply store, yet here we are! We've ordered from Rocklers website before, but they recently had a deal for $50 off a specific router in-store only. We made a little weekend roadtrip and drove the 4 hours to visit the store and am so glad we did! We were greeted by so many associates who were all incredibly friendly, funny, knowledge and accommodating! Two different Marks, Bill, Austin and a very very kind woman whose name I unfortunately didn't get. They have a huge selection of wood and tools, varying in prices to fit any budget. Everything we looked for was in stock and easy to find. They even had an insanely knowledgeable finishing expert there from Old Masters named Scott who gave me great advice about staining a piece of factory furniture. They've recently opened, so they have lots of giveaways and great deals happening! They even have a schedule of all of their different events and deals. Do not miss the opportunity to come here, if I could give it 1,000 stars I would.
