Came in to get parts for a hot water heater, needed to change out the upper thermostat and a heating element. Was able to find the parts I needed quickly. At the time I came in it was terribly busy so I did have to wait and line a little bit to get out of the building. The parts for inexpensive so that was good. If you're ever in Home Depot and they try to sell you an AC tune up by ARS, just simply walk away. There's no tune up! They don't do anything but open the unit to find something to sell you. Why would Home Depot take part in this scam? The Home Depot employee told me they would spray my unit with special liquids to extend the life of my unit. The guy got an empty bottle and filled it with water. MY OWN WATER FOR THAT MATTER! Also, they don't take cash nor would they swipe your credit card. You're giving a receipt page where you could write down your credit card number so they could charge you later in the office. SAY WHAT!!! The tech had the audacity to get upset cause I wouldn't hand over my credit card (identity) for him to lose. read more

I don't usually stop by this Home Depot even though it is the closest one. On my way home from work. I usually go down to Bloomingdale on 30 one but today I decided I would give it a try since I have not been in there for a very long time because the service is always bad. I stopped in to purchase lawn equipment, a battery operated Ryobi string trimmer and leaf blower while there. I picked up some lawn chairs for a friend, placed it on a cart and went back to the lawn care. I picked up a leaf blower, but the string trimmer was behind the cage, so I needed help from an associate to access it. I stop and associate to ask him for help and he kept walking and say he would send somebody back there. Meanwhile, another gentleman came in looking for parts. No one was back there and he didn't know exactly what he wanted so he decided to go back to his truck and get the part in his truck to match with what he needed. I stood back there, waiting for an associate for help, no one came the gentleman came back from. picking up the Adam from his truck I am picking up The part that he needed for his lunch, so I stopped another employee and told him I needed help. He said he will send somebody back there again. I waited and waited for about a half hour. Nobody came and grabbed a cart with my chairs in it and went to the register told the lady at the register I was gonna purchase $400 worth a long equipment but no one came through. She offered to give me 40% off if I waited and she could give me help. no thank you. My husband and I are remodeling our home. We've been to 3 different Home Depot and this location has been so horrible. They are not helpful at all. I asked to be helped with paint and the employee response was that "he didn't know paint" which is fine, but at least call someone else to assist. I was recently in Brandon, FL to visit my Dad. Home Depot happens to be his favorite home improvement store and he often goes to this location. While I was there, we went to purchase a few different appliances for his brand new place. I want to take this opportunity to let the General Manager of this location know we had the distinct pleasure in dealing with one of your staff member, the Appliance specialist Tarrah Sanchez. Although we found everyone to be courteous and helpful, Tarrah stood out among all. It is not often (unfortunately) that I find the time or the opportunity to commend the Dept. stores employees but Ms. Sanchez's professionalism requires that I do so. I travel for work and have shopped all over US and I have never encountered more polished professional than Ms. Sanchez. Her time and effort, both discreet and overt to make my Dad and I feel comfortable were deeply appreciated and should not go UN-noticed. Please convey again our sincere Thanks to Tarrah and to you also for establishing and maintaining high standards for your people. Hoping Ms. Sanchez gets recognized in some ways. And almost every aisle I was in and an employee was near me they would ask if I needed any help. horrible service almost every time i go. by the time i find someone who is willing to help me - i typically get a bs answer like go online and buy it or we don't carry it here or idk, it's hard to know which one is best, pick one and buy it and try it and if it doesn't fit then it's the wrong one and bring it back and do it all over again. i've spoken to management and i've even went to corporate - no results. one apology from a customer service representative who i cussed out bc i was waiting for 25 minutes for some guy to come back to me like he said he would. save yourself a lot of time and effort - go to lowe's. or use pinterest and do it yourself. read more

There are several Home Depot stores very close together in the Tampa Bay area. As I checked online to verify which location has the specific items in stock that I wanted to buy. Went to the first HD, and they didn't have what I wanted in stock, even though they even said it shows they should, haha. Went to a 2nd HD, same thing again, their computer was off, and again not in stock. So... 3rd time's a charm, I hoped, and it was, as we ended up here and they had the hard to find 2ft x 2ft transparent plastic ceiling light tiles. The service was as expected, and check in and out was quick. I parked in the contractor area, as I like to do as needed when either going in and out quickly or buying a truck load of goodies. the price was as expected and the quality was also very good. Overall once I found a store with correct inventory, all was great. read more

Disclaimer: This review is only on the nursery. I am happy to report that there is a great selection of flowers, indoor/outdoor plants, veg and herbs at this location and they are not dead looking! We visited another Home Depot just a few days ago and everything was looking pretty sad. We walked out empty handed. We were also happy to see such a great selection/variety because before coming here we also visited a couple local nurseries (small business) and they were either all out of their veg plants or they were not carrying them anymore. read more

Outdoor kiosk didn't work so had to go inside, pay the cashier, come back out, go back to the kiosk...enter info from the receipt and then finally got the tank!! Too many steps for a simple stop!! We had a hard time finding someone to help us. We asked a cashier and he blew us off. We found another guy in a different department who found someone else. They did not have or could not find the drill that they said they had. Selection of lumber especially plywood was also not great. read more

After being told on 2 separate occasions we could return unused baseboard from a contractors pack they would not let us return it. Lowe's is only a couple of miles further away, but I've never had the problems there that I've had with this Home Depot. read more

I have had many conversations about Home depot and found that a ton of their contractors are horrible. Complete lack of compassion and service from Solar bear. This is a Home Depot contracted company. First my mother who is a month away from her 70th birthday. She purchased a complete A / C unit ( outside and inside units) Solar bear installed approximately one month ago. The unit has failed this soon. It is 89 to 91 degrees in her house. My mother called Solae Bear first because that is was the company that installed the units via home depot. They told my mother they would be out to service her units on Tuesday at 9.. Solar bear called to say the person that was supposed to show had an family emergency. We asked will any one will still come they said yes. Needless to say Solar Bear and Home depot has given my mother the run around. It is now Sunday morning my 70 year old mother has a 5000$ new A/C and she is in the Florida heat. A tech showed up Saturday to say he knows the problem but it is Saturday can't get the part until Monday, how convenient. Home depot also should be sharing this review. Because they are just as much to blame for unprofessional contractors that they choose to represent their company. Home depot is too big to care. All the bad reviews say the same things. So if Home Depot continues to use Solar bear then shame on them. read more

To start off, GO TO LOWES, I waited 35 mins to get wood cut at the Home Depot off SR60 and faulkenburg, and when I approached this guy "Ron" and said excuse me, he continues walking past me ignoring me, as I say excuse me again he continues walking away and says "what? I'm listening" I said "do you mind finding someone to cut this wood for me?" He said "I'll get someone over there when I get a chance" (still walking away from me as I follow him) I replied with "you're the third person who's said that and hasn't happened" and he said "I'm already helping a customer" then he just walked away. Bought a washing machine over the phone{Wednesday, free del.}. Was told they had 2 in stock, did I want to come in for pick-up. I said it says free delivery. They told me it would be Saturday, they would call me Fri. nite with time window. Got recording told me Sat. 9-1, not debatable. Fine 2 gentlemen show up 11am. Take washer out of carton, beat too hell. Guy says taking washer back, call to see when a new one would be delivered. I tell him we have no washer. Tells me call store. Call store. Manager {Miguel?} tells me they have one, but doesn't know when he can get it to me because he's short people {2} that can drive & deliver, he'll get back to me. Waited hour, call back. Say's he's still working on it. Half hour later, truck shows up, one person. I'm 70, had to help unload washer from truck. We get it out of carton, dent in front corner. driver noted it, say's he'll let manager know. No one's called yet. read more

Horrible for small businesses! They don't allow exchanges and they don't allow anyone except who did the return to use the store gift card. These may seem like minuscule things but they have thrown a huge wrench in my business. If we're at a job and I need a different size/product than I originally purchased and I send an employee to exchange, they can't! Even with the receipt! They will only put the money back on my Home Depot card and not a gift card or exchange, then the employee has no way to buy the replacement unless it's out of their own pocket! If I have a Home Depot gift card and send an employee to pick up something, they are not allowed to use the gift card! This is crazy! Another project was delayed today due to the employees not allowing my guy to purchase the part we needed with the gift card I gave him. I had to then pack up the site and go get the replacement myself. Unreal. Not convenient or supportive of small business at all! read more
