As I live in Scotland the original salesman said they would send the part via the post. Part never arrived despite several phone calls, firstly not in stock for a few weeks, then saying it had been sent and then promised to be sent and still no part two months later. Every time you call seems like they will tell you promise you anything just to get you off the phone.

So far the car has cost around£400 to put right. The car was supposedly fully serviced yet it had a bald tyre, the clutch went in the first three weeks, it lets in the rain which I was told was down to the car being valeted and had been unable to air it properly. Do yourselves a favour go elsewhere!

They have a good, simple business model where it makes financial sense for them to treat their customers properly. As a single woman, it was refreshing to be treated as an intelligent adult. Car was advertised online, fitted my needs seemed a good price, so I called and reserved. Easy to arrange a test drive. There were a few minor issues with the car, which they fixed and had it MOT'd and valeted 2 days' later. The office staff arranged the tax, and I was set. Even after doing a lot of research, and being confident the model was reliable, I still had a niggling doubt about such a good deal being legit, but everyone there was upfront, friendly and helpful. An excellent family company - will definitely use again and happy to recommend.

Having used many garages over the years this is without doubt the worst one ever. A catalogue of errors from them and listening to their excuses was laughable. I would be very surprised if they had any trained mechanics on site. Please steer clear, you'll regret it if you don't.

I had the pleasure of calling in to RRG Mazda in Stockport earlier, as my car was due it's yearly…read moreservice and this is now my local Mazda dealer. I didn't have overly high expectations really, as my previous experience with manufacturer dealerships hasn't been overly brilliant - though, admittedly, that was with a different manufacturer (Ford) and a different area. In all honesty, though, RRG were great. They were able to not only book my car in at relatively short notice, as I only called up a couple of days ago, but being able to book it for a Saturday was brilliant. The icing on top came in the fact that they were willing to price match a quote from another dealership for the same work, and offer me a deal on future work to boot. The staff were friendly, and more than happy to answer my daft questions about servicing plans and how they compared to paying outright at the time. There's complimentary drinks available - I opted for a bottle of water - and some little snack things on the tables, like biscuits and sweets. In terms of the actual service, for the car that is, that's a pretty standard routine dictated by the manufacturer but the paperwork I received back was clear and detailed with everything which had been checked and to what standard. The staff also weren't pushy. They tried to upsell me some stuff, as you'd expect any dealer to do when they've got you, but it was very much along the line of "Here's the information, take it home and have a read and if you're interested, let us know". Overall, I'm very happy with the service I received from RRG and would happily recommend them to other Mazda owners. The site also houses a Suzuki dealer, and for those of you with more money a Lexus showroom too.
