I wouldn't call it relaxing cause you're worried about getting pooped and peed on which I was mentally prepared for. That part was more funny to me than anything. I did get some good laughs in! The goats were adorable! The only reason for a little lower rating is I felt guilty and a sad about the constant transport of the baby goats in the trailers. Between classes all the goats are just sitting in a hot trailer as well. I'm not an animal expert so this might be fine for them I just cant help my personal feelings. I attended the sound bath which was beautiful. I knew I would have a different experience knowing goats would visit me as I tried to meditate on the floor. I anticipated the goats peeing and pooping. What I did not anticipate was that both pee and poop got all over my yoga mat and blanket so I had to throw them both away. I am sharing so that others know that this could happen so you don't bring anything of value. Before anyone says that it can be washed- there was no way I was going to put a yoga mat and urine-soaked blanket in my car. Washing those items are not worth the risk. I also felt stressed at the end. Love the mission and all the goats they rescue! Would be happy to outdoor events with them. read more

We've been considering getting goats and Jim was very friendly and patient with us peppering him with a million questions. The goats were gentle walkers and all you need for the walk is provided. Goat yoga really is as good as it gets people! Pretty much the best experience I've had in a very long time. You can rent a mat for $5, which I recommend because the goats do poop and pee. They have a team of people running around cleaning up after them and assisting them getting into yoga positions. The goats are extremely friendly and well cared for. Their coats were super soft and they liked being pet. I would definitely recommend goat yoga to anyone who needs to feed their inner child and relax. 5+ stars. I'll be back for sure! read more

I want to begin by saying that I appreciate that they rescued goats so I hate to write a bad review. But I have been to goat yoga several times at other places and have had a blast. Unfortunately, not the case today. The place was all dirt and poop- not grass like the video. And the goats were really too big for goat yoga- much bigger than the video. Attended Goat Yoga at Skal Farm on Saturday, July 29. Read the instructions many times. There was no mention of yoga mats. At check in, we were informed the mats would be rented for $5 or you could have brought your own. The facility condition greatly detracted from the experience. The goat handlers remained on one side of the fenced area the entire class. Being on the opposite side, I had very little interaction with the goats. This could have been okay. At the end one of the larger goats knocked my friend and I over - likely weighed as much as my friend. As far as physical location, the farm is not clean. Dog poop needed to be navigated in reaching the check in location. There was a large trash can over flowing with alcohol bottles and cans. The area fenced for yoga was covered in weeds. Realize this is Colorado, but the biting flies were biting! Glad I experienced goat yoga. Not likely to return to this location. May need to experience again at a different location without the weeds and biting flies. read more

I had my daughter's 13th birthday with Rocky Mountain Goat Yoga because she wanted to do something unique and different. I thought this would be the best way to do that. The owner Jim Naron refused to talk with me over the phone and only would communicate via email. I addressed my issues and he never took responsibility once. Again this was for a kids birthday party please keep that in mind. Here is what I sent to him. It was one thing to dismiss me but to take something out on a child was just wrong and not showing good vibes. I never write reviews but I felt this deserved one. Jim, February 7, 2022 I want to address my experience with your organization Rocky Mountain Goat Yoga that occurred on Sunday January 30, 2022. While I appreciate all the communication that you have provided me since I originally set this up for my daughter's 13thbirthday on January 16th, 2022, I have to say I was highly disappointed in your lack of professionalism during the session. As you know I had to reschedule this for my daughter as someone in the group was sick and we did not want to possibly get anyone else sick in the group or in the class, so I did the right thing and rescheduled the event for the January 30, 2022, date which you assisted me with. My group which consisted of myself and my sister, my daughter and her three friends arrived at the Four Mile Historic Park early as to make sure we got checked in and would be on time for the lesson which started at 11am. We found our place in the room and was waiting patiently for the class to begin. It started to become almost 11:15am and the class still had not started nor had anyone made an announcement as to why the class was running behind. I then went and spoke to an employee of RMGY to simply ask what the holdup was, again we had 4 kids with us who were excited to get started. The girl's response was we are waiting on some more people that joined the class. I said so you are telling me that we are running late because we are waiting on others that are late to show up. She said yes. I went back into the room. You came over to ask what was going on and we simply said we found that to be disrespectful and your response was that it is your discretion to decide that and its all-good vibes here. I felt you were dismissive in saying that statement. Having good vibes is also being communicative, and if you would have told the class what was happening, we would not have said anything. We were not trying to be rude to you, but you were to us. I feel that if you were waiting for people to arrive, that could have been ok but maybe make an announcement to your other paying guests who arrived on time, as we had lunch reservations as it was my daughter's birthday. The class began and you proceeded to take the goats around the room but not once directed the goats to myself or my sister. You threw some treats our way so the goats would pass us. You also only went to my daughter and her friends a couple of times. You direct the goats where to go they do choice where to go that is very apparent in how they are trained by you with the treats. The people that showed up late and the rest of the class you went to repeatedly. I felt you were being extremely vengeful because perhaps you did not like that, we questioned you as to why the class was starting late which we had every right to ask. You might not agree and say you went to the entire class evenly but sir you did not and even my daughter and her friends noticed that. For you to do that is horrible and not showing any good vibes whatsoever. I paid for all 6 participants and to be ignored was not fair or nice especially when this was for a child's birthday and our first experience with your company. I ask that you truly listen to what I have written to you and understand I was a paying customer wanting to have a great experience for myself and all my guests and for you to treat a customer like that is terrible. I would like to know what you think would be fair to make up for this event as this was not the way to conduct business especially towards kids. read more

My daughter had heard about Goat Yoga so I started looking for someplace local. Found Rocky Mountain Goat Yoga and signed us up. Unfortunately, my daughter had a previous engagement so I had to cancel, but RMGA was nice enough to give me a credit for a future session. We went last night, December 13th, and had a blast. Around 12 people, in a heated barn, with animals all around us. Honestly I think more people were there for the goats than the yoga, but the yoga instructor was very good. So fun to be doing a cat/cow cradle and have a goat (both little and large!) jump on your back and just hang out. All the goats were so tame and loveable. I did not plan my clothing well, I should have worn warmer tops as the barn is still pretty cold and you are on a cement floor but that was my fault for not asking beforehand what to wear. All the goats are rescues which made it more fun, and several people were able to hand bottle feed a couple of baby goats. Definitely recommend this experience! read more

I got the opportunity to take a baby goat yoga class at sunset at four mile historic park and wow what an amazing experience! The instructor was great. The owner created a great vibe. The park was a beautiful backdrop. And the goats were adorable, so well behaved, and so fun to play with! Would buy a membership and go every week if it was available. read more

A goat urinated all over my back, which ruined the class for me. When I asked for a refund, the owner, Jim, became rude and refused. It's also painful to have multiple goats on your back and standing on your hands, and makes it nearly impossible to do any yoga. read more

This is probably the biggest epic failure I have ever had in coordinating a get together. From the very beginning, there were many red flags. Just from trying to gather information and book the event, it took months of communication with no response in the beginning and then once finally connected, the lapse of time between communication was weeks. There was also never any follow-ups. It is safe to say that I went above and beyond in making sure that I did all that was necessary to book this event and had my ducks lined up in a row. Upon arriving at the event, after 10 minutes of waiting, the class was running late and we were notified that the instructor was on their way. After 20 minutes late, we were notified still that the instructor was not responding and they assumed they were on their way but now had contacted the owner for me. At this point it was 4:21 p.m. Our class was supposed to be from 4 to 5 PM. The owner arrived at approximately 445 / 4:50 p.m. and at this point we had already had two people in the group that turned around and left because it would impose on other plans. We had one person leave right then because they had to be someplace else as we were already almost an hour late. And we had one other bail out. And even though there were many others that were now running into problems because they had other plans after, some of us decided to stay. The owner then proceeded to tell me that the reason why the instructor did not show up was because in his system we were still in pending and it did not leave the pending file and assign us an instructo. But other than let's make this right, all he said was that I needed compassion to understand his life and that this was life. He didn't care to hear about the inconveniences that this had caused for so many others. He had every excuse in the book and was extremely defensive. He offered no compensation or adjustment for the disaster caused by them or for the money and time others loss because of his unprofessional business. He spent 45 minutes teaching us yoga at which point those that sat near him could tell that he was trying to figure out what to do next on each song as well as at 45 minutes into it, he was winding down. At that point it began to rain and we all just walked off. Also, they state on their main page that they use baby goats. And they show pictures of baby goats. The goats that we had this evening were fun and cute, but were definitely not baby goats. And I know this because they told us they were not baby goats. They told us that these goats were getting ready to retire. They were approximately two to three times bigger than the goats stated and advertised as well as weighed much more than that. The only exception, was there was one baby goat, but really wasn't a baby, just the younger of the crowd. Another way we took note of this not only from them telling us, is that we have pictures of these goats with their horns. That alone would give you some slight inclination of their age. This is the most unprofessional, rudest, disorganized, business I have ever dealt with. And all they have to say is...that's life. Look at the pictures below to compare the different size of goats. For their advertising they use the baby goats/smaller goats. But what we had today in class again as they said were goats that were getting ready to be retired. The weight of these goats had to have been at least 30 to 40 + pounds on your back. Since the original posting of this review, this company is now changing their story and refuses to take responsibility for their mistakes. read more
