Despite my mom and I very clearly saying that I need a gold stud, the employee kept pushing that I have to get a surgical steel stud and that I couldn't possibly be allergic to it. After lots of debating, I reluctantly agreed to have the surgical steel stud and regretted it a few weeks later when it got extremely infected because of my allergic reaction. I ended up having to take out the piercing to have it heal. It's been two years already and I still have a bump where the piercing was. It was quite painful and a lot of money to lose because of the employee's lack of knowledge.
