Several months after my initial, disappointing visit, I receive a call from the Owner - she was considerate and understanding and expressed her disappointment regarding my previous experience. She invited me back and offered to do my hair "as a gift" to make up for what had happened. I went back last week and was treated very. The stylist I was with this time did a very good job and everyone was a lot friendlier and more professional. I am impressed that she called me up and sought to make things right and now feel confident that I would go back and see this stylist again. Thank you. read more

400$ every time I get my shoulder length hair done at Total Eclips was becoming a little much... Especially considering the fact that last time I was in the colour and cut I was given were uneven! My hairdresser was going to make me pay more to have it fixed so, I said screw it and I go to Zahra now. They use all the same Aveda products that I love but it only costs me 150-250$ to have the exact same cut and colour done. I have a friend who goes to Total Eclips, she has a pixie cut, she only gets partial highlights, no cut or blow dry and they charge her 350$? That's only 50$ less than I get charged for a full colour, cut and blow dry with shoulder length hair. Makes no sense... Something is seriously a miss with Total Eclips and their pricing! read more

The salon is next to Starbucks, always a good thing. Very friendly front staff, walked in and didn't have an appointment, was initially going in to book. I ended up with a slot due to a cancelation. Promptly seated, great massage to start and a great chat during my cut. after all aren't hairdressers therapists? Lol. my blow out after the cut was fresh and felt amazing. I would highly recommend this salon, and I paid under $100 tip included with Lisa Marie a senior stylist, A+ experience all around. You've got a new customer. Keep up the good work. read more

Review of Total E'clips, I was bumped and shuffled between 4 separate hair stylists and 2 different locations, after moving to Kelowna. I was about to fly back to my previous hair stylist. I was not happy THEN I was finally placed with Johnny. He is a HAIR GOD!! I have difficult, curly, coarse, dark hair ... plus I'm also difficult and Johhny is the one and only stylist than can cut my hair!! An amazing cut and colour every time!! I recommend for those of you who have been disappointed or shuffled at Total E'clips, try Johnny! You won't be disappointed !! My wife would never say a word except that she was devastated by the outcome of her hair color. So I will make the comments based on the facts. She was trying this salon to see if she could make it a regular place to get her hair done. She had several good experiences and planed to be a regular until she got her hair bleached. She came home and I said to her, the cut looks good but it's not Halloween why is it orange instead of blond which you asked for. I said don't worry just get them to fix their mistake, they can't possibly expect you to be happy with that color. Well according to them that's not going to happen, she would have to pay for a new hair coloring. I can't believe any business would treat a customer in this manor and send a customer away unhappy with their product. They must be doing great and can afford to throw their customers under the bus. Your customers are your sales force and you just fired an unpaid employee. Oh and by the way my wife got her hair color fixed the very next day by her previous hairdresser for 1/4 yes 1/4 the amount of what you charged for the pumpkin head. My family have been going to this salon and spa for over 10 years and I am always impressed with the level of professionalism and integrity. Over the years I have had many different stylists as some have moved on, had babies or left for various reasons. I have always felt confident in the management to hire and train to the same high standards and loved every stylist I have had at the salon. I went to get a hair colour at Lakeshore location, in Kelowna. The stylist fried my hair with the flat iron. I paid $$$ for the service and I expected quality for the money I paid. I went back and the stylist did a deep conditioning and gloss for free but I ended up buying expensive products in a desperate effort to fix my hair. The stylist said I will have to wait to outgrow the hair as she cannot do anything. She burned my long healthy beautiful hair up to the roots, so cutting it would not have been helpful. The stylist said she'll call me back in 2 weeks to see if I need another deep conditioning but she didn't. Total Eclipse rep did not even offer the refund for the service I paid for. They should hire competent and professional stylists. read more

1st visit. Front staff were friendly and I was able to book in same day for a Manicure. I chose Gel polish as I usually do. Very little time was spent shaping my nails - some left square, some rounded and my cuticles were left ragged after being trimmed. Within 2 days I had polish chipping off and within 4 days most were peeling up at the edges. My previous experience with gel has been it lasting weeks and weeks until purposefully removed so I am disappointed to having spent premium for service that didn't last even a week. read more

I had my brows died for the first time and they still left some grey hairs. I went back to have them fixed and the girl plucked a bunch out. Mine don't grow back. She said that I would just have to put up with the grey hairs. My brows look awful right now. They are darker than before so the grey hairs show up more and the dark brows don't suit me. They look awful. I lost my money here. My eyelash dye was okay. I have had my eyelashes dyed before and this job was okay. read more
