If you are in the Colorado Springs area, please avoid this contractor. This contractor performed…read moreminimal services (placing ice & water tar paper on the roof structure ) for a new structure roof, but charged more than twice the rate. After half of the estimated job quote of placing a new seamed metal roof on a structure was paid to the contractor, the contractor breached the contract 5 months later without cause and will not provide the money owed. Even after the breach of contract, the contractor sent a invoice indicating an overpayment was made - but has not yet paid this amount. The work performed had to be removed by another contractor due to being weather damaged (ie. 4 months exposed to the elements), which was additional out of pocket cost. We have had to take legal action to receive the funds owed. I would suggest not putting yourself through this level of headache and find a different roofing contractor altogether.

Mike N.'s (my contact at High Point Roofing) 8/21/19 rebuttal to my 8/9/19 review contains…read moreinaccuracies. I indeed expressed I was happy that my roof was replaced on the date that it was replaced. However, I expressed my concerns with Mike N. after I learned that Mike N. had not contacted the gutter subcontractor until I asked about it, my bushes were destroyed during heavy rains without gutters for 17 days, and that Mike N. neglected to include fascia scraping, priming and painting High Point Roofing's own gutter subcontractor stated were customary when gutters are replaced. It is because of those expressed concerns that Mike N. assured owner Paul meet him at my house on 8/9/19, when Mike N. came to collect payment. I still have Mike N.'s voice mail message immediately following Mike N. and Paul's 8/9/19 visit to my home, stating Paul would send a $500. check so my fascia could be painted after my over $17,000. check cleared. That voice mail message did not request that I contact High Point Roofing. My check cleared on 8/20/19, and as of today (9/21/19), I have not received the $500. check that was promised 1 month and 1 day ago. High Point Roofing refused to accept responsibility for my bushes turning precisely the same color as the roofing materials before dying. Because I never heard back from High Point Roofing after 8/9/19, the date Mike N. and Paul were paid in full, I paid another contractor $700. to have the fascia scraped, primed and painted, and the bushes that died completely removed.

Here is an update on the door from hell. We originally placed a 50% deposit on the door on June…read more16, it is now October 3. The door was delivered and installed Sept. 19 with a broken sidelight, which was replaced yesterday. Sept. 22 I emailed the project manager with a photo showing how I can slide a piece of paper between both sidelights and the door frame. I was assured the service technician could fix the gaps when he replaced the broken sidelight. Discussions with the service technician and manager revealed the door was improperly manufactured, causing the gaps. Also, the door frame was not square as evident by the differences in door clearances and rubbing. The solution they implemented was to caulk the door and install longer screws. When we purchased the door, we were told about how their quality control was much better than the factory. Also, we were told we'd receive a $250 gift card for the inconvenience, we received a $200 gift card. Nothing about this door has been the expected quality, correct, or professional. The door does not have the quality or integrity of a new door that was manufactured correctly from the start (which we paid full price for) and we have a damaged tree. I highly recommend avoiding this business. I will never buy anything from Liberty again.
