About an hour later I heard from Tammy Schmidt...We got off to a bit of a rocky start since what I was proclaiming wasn't exactly easy to absorb...After some time of discussing the subject we came to a bit of an impasse. She did however say that she would bring up my concerns with the owner and get back to me. If and when they win they want their money…read moreupfront in 30 days while you wait for your refund gor AT LEAST 6 months for Suffolk County to send them your refund check. Then they distribute the check to you snd no one lnows how long that takes. If you do not pay them 55% upfront in 30 days you get a penalty of 75% of your check that goes to them plus 2.6% each month you didn't give them their money while you wait for your money. I called Suffolk County Comptroller's office and they said Aventine knows bery sell that it takes AT LEAST 6 months or more for your check yo go to them and after that who knows when you get your money from them.
