Then when you go to a normal PCP he will tell you, you should have gotten bloodwork from the beginning. Ridiculous. Don't go here.

From the time I arrived it took me less than fifteen minutes to fill out paperwork, go through the standard H&P with the staff (who is probably just working after high school), get seen by the doctor and then get a prescription and pay my flat rate for an office visit. Key things to note: it took less than fifteen minutes before i walked out with a prescription, and it was CHEAP. Unusual flag-raising kind of things: 1) I didn't see any patient charts anywhere. None. No clutter ANYWHERE. 2) no computers anywhere. These things don't equate. 3) The high school girl in scrubs basically told me what my symptoms were. That's a little odd. 4) they don't bill insurance. They essentially have two fees, one for an office visit and another for a sports physical (which was less). 5) the walkout statement had seven "standard" procedures (in addition to the two office visit codes) pre-typed on the form for the doctor to use as a template. One of the codes was for Nail Removal. (Seriously??) 6) the walkout form had a place for ICD9 codes and not for ICD10. ICD9 codes have not been actively used in medicine for office visits in two years. But I did get my prescription in under fifteen minutes.

3.5 STARS. Following an accident that broke a segment of My…read morelower back, I began treatment here. A full time, very well experienced chiropractor is on staff (who happens to be a whiz at reading the X-rays). He takes an active interest in what ails you but seems concentrated on making you feel any sort of relief as quickly as possible, even if that means leaving the major (perhaps, less treatable) issues at bay. He's personable, friendly, very analytical, and gentle natured, perhaps too gentle at times. (I think perhaps he was intimidated by the fact that I have a weak-bone condition.) There's also a massage therapist, and an ultrasound tech (sonar tech?) Compared to other facilities I've seen, their equipment collection isn't lavish. They have X-ray facilities on-site, a mechanically reclining drop table, tens unit etc, but that just means the staff must focus on your care hands-on moreso. Occasionally at this office, there's also a M.D. She is judgmentally presumptive in all the wrong ways. I think I learned a lesson in being judgmental just from My encounter with her. We summarized the issue as a "misunderstanding" and left it at that. Friendly in her own way I suppose, but I found her (or at least My brief EXPERIENCE with her) to be HIGHLY offensive... Please do not let My experience with that particular doctor (who is rarely there) affect your decision whether to get treated at this center or not. The chiropractor and his therapeutic staff are outstanding individuals. They are so friendly and conscientious towards their patients. The waiting room is small, unbusy, but comfortable enough. There's a calm atmosphere throughout that feels very home-y. The receptionist is very likable, and was a knowledgeable liason for my healthcare needs. They strive to make you comfortable and assist you in your healing. (That's their job though, right?) They do it nicely. My injury was due to a premises liability (lawsuit) issue and I was totally uninsured. They worked with My law firm to assure that My injuries were properly documented and treated. I NEVER once received any hassles or bills whilst My case was being handled. So very patient with Me every step of the way... Thank you guys for that! When someone's hurt from an injury and pursuing their rightful compensation... they should never have their troubles heaped-upon by medical bill harassment. This center respects this notion. WIN for them for sticking through with Me! (Win for Me too :-)) After My injury had healed as well as it ever would (will never be at least 90% again), they offered Me a very deep discount to continue seeing the Chiro there if I wished for future care. They called it their "sister-in-law" rate, lol. Treatment terminated when I wished, with no hassles. They helped Me with My case immensely, and cooperated 100% with My attorneys. They have a flexible scheduling and entering/existing the facility is easy for a person even when struggling with pain. Never had any problem with parking either. I don't recall their being equipped for a wheelchair-bound persons access, but I could be wrong. Nice people, much like a family. I kinda miss them! :-)
