Servers spoke perfect English and helped guide us with food and wine. The bread was seriously incredible - this is the stuff you'll pay $12/loaf for in LA. Yummy roasted potatoes are brought to the table as soon as you're seated. Loved the leeks and the veal pasta. The fish of the day was a tad too fishy but that's more of my personal taste.

(Reservations can be made in person or over the phone only - while we were eating, I saw the phone ringing off the hook and their reservation book being added to.) When it was time for our reservation we were greeted and seated by a nice man who turned out to be the chef/owner himself, Marcos Gil. He went through each item on the menu with us and suggested wine pairings for our selections. We ordered the leeks, salmon, veal cheek, and venison, a daily special. They were all incredible! Each dish was not overly sophisticated and let the main component truly speak for itself. We could genuinely taste the craft and care that went into each dish. The dessert was no exception. Despite being a modest, unassuming restaurant, the space was intimate and inviting and the service was excellent along with the food. Worth more than any three-star Michelin meal any day.

The menu has nice illustrations and drink descriptions, which I liked. We visited around 9 PM and had to wait ~30 minutes in line. This was mostly bad luck, because I could tell we just missed getting in and there were open seats when we left around 10:30 PM. We had two rounds of drinks. The Oriental Experience (18€) is really three drinks together, served in bowls and with similar consistency, but very different flavors. The flavors were interesting; I'm glad we tried it, but I might not order it again. I had the Stout (14€) which was a blend of sherry, date water, and stout beer. It tasted like it sounds -- a mix of wine and stout beer -- and it reminded me a bit of a chocolate wine I had once. Next time, I would just get a stout beer. Our second round was the Ultramarino and Native Roots (14€ each). They first was not that interesting. It said it "rested in a clay amphora which is submerged in sea water for 72 hours" but this seemed more like a gimmick than anything. The Native Roots was super interesting because it was made with roots, tuber cordial, and potato vodka. I liked it a lot because it was so unique. Service was fine, if a little slow and inattentive. I like that they refilled our chips.

Doesn't take itself too serious and has a really fun illustrated menu. - halili fizz - gin with banana lassi, sichuan peppercorn, green cardamom, flower water, tonic. This drink consists of two cocktails. You receive a mini cocktail while it takes time to make the fizz. Drink is garnished with a little ice cream and is creamy and refreshing. - oriental experience - three mini cocktails. First is rum, sherry, chinese pumpkin. Second is whiskey, oolong tea, cocoa, and palo santo. Third is baijiu, rice water, ginger, tangerine peel, orange blossom honey. Each drink was so distinct but my favorite was the second.

It has a nice and modern bar as you walk in, an indoor restaurant which is very cosy and outside they have an outdoor restaurant that seats upto 100 people which is ideal for celebrations, weddings and comunion celebrations. The service is excellent, they are very attentative and as soon as we sat down, the waiter came with a plate of fried chistorra and rice morcilla for us to share whilst he took our drinks order. A glass of red wine for me! We decided to opt for the €12 daily menu which looked good! The first plate was a deliciously tasting salad with caramelized onion, balsamic vinegar and feta cheese. Not my usual type of salad but I can honestly say that even though it was sweet, it was really delicious, not even a scrape left over on the plate! For the second plate I opted for an autumn/winter dish as the weather now calls for this type of food so I chose a bowl of stewed of beans and morcilla. Very tasty indeed, I could have eaten this plate 5 times over as it´s the type of food that I really enjoy! For my third plate I chose the churrasco which is one of my favourite meats and it turned out just as I expected it to, delicious, and also served with chips and a tomato, onion and pepper sauce. For pudding I chose the Ferrero Rocher chocolate cake, and what a cake it was, I don´t usually have desert but as I love Ferrero Rocher chocolates I just had to try this cake, very satisfying indeed, I was really stuffed after! So all in all I had a very good experience at this restaurant and will definately go back! Good food, good price and good service!
