I've had a compounded prescription filled here for over a year, and I honestly can't recall a single experience that has gone smoothly. I routinely have to call to confirm they received the prescription from my provider, then follow up again because it isn't automatically filled once it's received. If you need a refill, I'd recommend starting the process at least two weeks in advance and being prepared to manage the follow-up yourself. What makes it even more frustrating is that there doesn't seem to be a clear or consistent process for getting a prescription filled. Even employees have given me conflicting or unclear information about how the process is supposed to work. At one point, the issues were attributed to turnover at my provider's office, which does not align with my experience or what I know to be true. On top of that, I've had interactions with multiple employees who have been rude, condescending, and unnecessarily difficult. Instead of helping resolve an already frustrating situation, some interactions have made it worse. After more than a year of dealing with the same issues, I'm genuinely baffled by how difficult Grove Pharmacy makes what should be a relatively straightforward process. I've given them many opportunities, but based on my experience, I cannot recommend them.

I called The Medicine Shoppe and Chris took my call. We spoke for 18 minutes discussing my medications and how they work. The conversation was interspersed with casual conversation as well, because Chris is a very personable guy. True, our conversation didn't need to be so long, but it just goes to show how much he enjoys talking with his customers and his level of dedication to making sure everyone understands their medication.

Someone from the store contacted me, explaining they were out of one of the products and were going to have NRG-X ship me the order directly. I emailed NRG-X for confirmation and honestly received a reply within ten minutes! ON A SATURDAY!! I emailed again with a nutrition question and was again quickly taken care of. The prices are higher on items than at Lucky's in springfield, but for the convenience, it's absolutely worth it. And I'm pretty certain it's all cheaper than Mama Jean's.
