On December 3, 2015, I scheduled my first ever straight-razor shave with Damion, it was a great experience. I was a little nervous going into my first real barber's shave but Damion put me at ease. Damion is a professional and fun to be around. I was offered a nice warm beverage and listened to some great jazz playing over the speakers. The shave took about an hour and was very relaxing; let me tell you, hot towels are awesome! I really enjoyed the various shave oils and lotions Damion used, they all felt and smelled wonderful. My face was nice and smooth and smelling oh so fresh and so clean and I was feeling warm from homemade gluehwein. I will definitely come back for more shaves. Rogue Barbers is an excellent place for a haircut as well. My kids and I have been to Rogue Barbers for haircuts. The staff are always welcoming and are all very talented. The warm feeling of the décor, the music they play and the games they offer to waiting customers create a fun environment. My kids had a great time playing several games of bumper pool while I was getting my shave. I will continue to come to Rogue Barbers for haircuts for myself and my kids. read more

I was visiting some family in Grants Pass and desperately needed a hair cut. I had heard about Rogue Barbers through social media so I decided to stop in and give them a try. This is my kind of place! Rustic hardwood, antique furniture; a really sharp classic barber shop. Damion had greeted me and gave me some mulled wine from the bar while he was finishing up with another customer. I had heard about the Sasquatch Delight and decided to give it a try; it was like a day spa for the modern man! Not only was it a fun, relaxing experience, but it was educational too. Damion chatted with me about different techniques for shaving and how to keep my skin from breaking out in a rash. I also learned that keeping a razor in the shower for long periods of time build up bacteria that can further irritate the skin. Gross! Now I keep my razor nice and clean on the counter to keep that from happening. I have to say, Damion is definitely a master of his craft. My hair is so thick and wavy that it's challenging for me to find a barber that can make it look good. Damion did not disappoint! I will definitely be back whenever I'm in town. I had no idea that there would be such a gentleman's parlor in Grants Pass. Last time I was downtown it was a beauty supply. They did a fantastic job restoring this place to an old time barber shop! Could smell the aftershave and leather when you walk in. There was Frank Sinatra playing on a vintage record player and the barbers were nice in giving me a welcome, showing me around..I guess things are already going so well they will be making another work station to make room for growth. Some other things in the works as well. Was promptly sat in a classic barber chair, handed a beer and before I knew it I was done and feeling refreshed. Someone else was getting a hot towel shave and I was short on time so I didnt get a straight razor shave, however I will be BACK to check out. Damion Perez Trovato part owner of Rogue Barbers took antique furniture from me his client of 10 years! I had an estate sale he loaded up his truck and drove off without paying. Numerous attempts to have him pay or return were ignored. HE wants me to take him to civil court over this....SHAME on you Damion and your step-dad Ron Gillespie that co-owns the shop and supports your disgusting behavior! And yet he called the police when a young man did not pay for his haircut and that man was arrested....BUT Damion feels it's okay to take furniture without paying at my estate sale!!! You are AWFUL! and if people search the internet you will find other even more horrific things he has done. read more

I absolutely love this place! The feel and atmosphere are incredible. Everybody in the shop made me feel very welcome as soon as I walked in the door. They listened to exactly what I wanted to do with my hair and offered back options that I never though of. This is truly a rare find in Southern Oregon.
