Postpartum depression is very real and very scary but with Venus' help I am in a much better place than I have ever been. With COVID it makes things a little tricky but it's awesome to be able to chat with her virtually right now and still get the help I need even with the world in the state it is. There's been a few things but this is the one that got me. I was at the ER when they called to get my copay, I paid it and said I needed another link. It wasn't sent, I called EIGHT times to tell them I needed in to my appointment. No one answered so I didn't get my appointment. When they finally called the next week about another appointment I set it up, I was reassured I owed NOTHING because they lady said some things changed and that's why Addison didn't call my phone when she realized I wasn't connecting. So that appointment comes up and they wanted $85 for missed appointment and my $30 copay. I told them no, I wasn't paying that because I was told I owed nothing because the way things got messed up. When she sent me the link she tried twice with text and I didnt come through but it did in my email. So now I have this other woman on the phone wanting me to pay this money I was told was paid AND why would I miss an appointment an hour after I paid my copay? I was told that office is short staffed and that's why no one answered.. not my problem. So the one with an attitude gets on the phone telling me she sent links at whatever time (never got them). I told them I was going to need to talk to Addison about a months supply of meds until I find a new provider. Get this.. I'm not ALLOWED to talk to her, to leave a message for the nurse who hasn't called me back a week later. Without meds guess what? That can be VERY dangerous to someone with mental health issues. They DONT care, it's all about the money. My insurance pays for X amount of time that isn't used but I don't go running to them. If someone goes off their meds literally anything can happen. So I'm here and need to get in with a new provider but I am NOT done with this place. I WILL make my way to the top and I will blast them everywhere to keep others safe. I bet if Addison knew what was going on she would make sure I have my meds. Please do NOT use them for your needs, they do not care about you period. Absolutely disgusting.
