I do t know why they didn't just admit to me they didn't have the watch any more - perhaps it has to do with eBay reputation. But their dishonesty cost me a lot of time and hassle that could have been avoided. I'm not out any money, just really annoyed.

Rafael provides excellent customer service with diligence, thoroughness and a clear understanding of watches of all kinds. He tells you upfront what he can do for sure and what he may be able to do once he opens the watches. My fix was rather simple this time around -- I was in and out in 25 min. Now I know where to go to fix my other watches, or get them appraised, or consider splurging on a Rolex :) He's open on Saturdays! His shop is on 3rd Ave (which turns to Coral Way) next to Vintage Liquors and 2 blocks south of Moshi Moshi. Small parking on site and street parking as well.

When I brought my brand new Rolex Datejust in for a simple sizing adjustment -- just to have a few links removed -- I was met by the store manager, a woman who, shockingly, reeked of alcohol and couldn't keep her eyes focused. Not exactly the kind of presence you expect in a Rolex boutique. She took the watch to the back, and when she returned, she told me with a straight face that I'd need to pay $1,500 to have the watch soldered to fit my wrist. Yes, soldered. Not resized -- soldered. As if permanently damaging the watch and ruining the value of a luxury timepiece was a reasonable solution. When I pushed back, she looked at me and said, "If you just worked out and got a little fatter, it would fit you better." I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Not only was the entire proposal outrageous, but the level of disrespect and unprofessionalism was on another level. This wasn't luxury service -- this was a total scam, and frankly, insulting. Still in disbelief, I went to the Rolex store at Aventura Mall a few days later. There, they resized the watch on the spot, cleaned it, and treated me with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care -- everything Brickell completely lacked. And guess what? It was free. So whatever game the Brickell Rolex thinks it's playing -- it's a bad one. They tried to hustle me like I was clueless, and their customer service was as shady as their ethics. I'll be telling everyone I know to steer clear of that store. If you're looking for a high-pressure, borderline insulting experience where the staff smells like booze and acts like you're an inconvenience, Brickell's your spot. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.

Just got a watch from there, be careful they are skimming your credit card, 2 days later i had some Best buy electronics and various expenses on my Amex statement. 100% my Amex magnetic strip was copied there according to Amex Inspectors and a Florida police florida report, because it is the only place I used my Amex in the US for my holidays trip. SO BEWARE to those scammer vendors that are skimming credit cards there, they leave to another room with your card while they "pretend" to prepare your watch and your bill. I love my watch but so disappointed for a brand like Rolex to have such dealers like this, they should ban them from their network or fired those bad vendors read more

I was easily able to schedule an appointment with Jane via email. Her office is centrally located downtown and I used Uber to avoid parking, but the building has valet for $15 or you can find a nearby parking garage/lot. I now feel safer walking around with my ring knowing it's appraised/insured. Would definitely recommend this biz to others in need of similar services!

The appraisal fee was reasonable, especially given that it was on such short notice, and working with Jane and Joe was a pleasure. In April 2010 I purchased a two-ring set from this business in anticipation of my wedding which was…read moreto take place the next month. One of the rings was in stock and was fully paid for. The second ring had to be ordered, and I placed a deposit on the payment of the second ring. The rings were marketed and sold as a set. I would not have bought either of the rings in the set individually, and purchased the two rings only because they were sold as and intended to be worn as a set. At the time of the purchase, the company represented that it would attempt to have the second ring available by the date of the wedding, i.e. approximately a month and a half after the April purchase date. The wedding came and went without the second ring. Despite my repeated requests as to the status of the ring and the company's repeated representations that the second ring's arrival was imminent, the second ring never came in. Frustrated by the months-long delay, in July I requested a refund of the deposit on the second ring, which was provided and, because it was intended to be worn and was sold as a two-piece set, also requested to return the first ring for a full and complete refund. Despite discussions with the sales associate and in-store manager, my request for a refund on the first ring was refused. The sales associate denied that the rings were sold as a set and, indeed, accused my wife of lying as to this issue. At the time that I requested to return the first ring by virtue of the company's failure to provide the second ring, it was revealed by the company for the first time that international orders of this nature often take months to be fulfilled. The months-long process of obtaining such jewelry items was never disclosed to me at the time of purchase in April nor at any point prior to the time that I requested a refund in July, and this information was in contradiction to the company's repeated statements that the second ring's arrival would be shortly forthcoming in a matter of days. Similarly, on that same date it was also revealed by the company that the ring manufacturer had sent two incorrect versions of the second ring and that these mistakes by the manufacturer had contributed to the unreasonable delay in the delivery of the second ring. The company never disclosed this fact to me at the numerous times that I called to request an update on the second ring's status; rather, it continually represented that the second ring's arrival was imminent. In sum, the company's statements as to the timeframe for the second ring's arrival were extremely misleading. Instead of being delivered in a matter of days, the second ring would realistically, at best, be delivered in a matter of months. If I knew that it was to take such a lengthy period of time after the wedding in order to receive the second ring of the set, I would have never bought the first ring of the set nor made a deposit for the second ring. After much pressure, the company at last took back the first ring and refunded the amount, but made sure to make the refund process as difficult and arduous as possible (it took me waiting in the store for over an hour for them to process the refund). My advice: AVOID!!!
