WORST PLACE EVER!!!! I don't know how to roller skate and I come here to have fun with my friends that do skate. I've been going here for years now and JUST SUDDENLY did they add a "new rule" that only parents can spectate. They forced us to buy skates and WEAR them or we had to leave. AND, the staff was super rude. It's huge waste of money and I recommend that you NEVER go here. Bad service, stupid rules, stupid skating rink. I thought this was a cool place for teens to hang out. Well i made it and I was told I could not wear my sports cap on the floor since it was considered headgear. But my question is what is considered head gear here. Because a lot of kids was wearing head band and skating on the floor in front of the floor guard. Now I been skating for 10 plus years, told me if it fall off it could make someone fall. Understandable, but why was I the only told this too. I assume I was the only one because everyone else had their. head bands on the entire time. I have to agree with the other review. This has got to be one of alamogordos hidden secrets for family fun. If they would upgrade the small snack bar with a bit more of a selection i would be there every weekend haveing fun with the family. read more

Great place to roller-skate or roller-blade. They have snacks available and an arcade, and are pretty affordable. Good place to take the family. read more

the last time I was at the roller arena was in the early 90's only because I relocated back to California. I have to say if you are looking for a good time and lots of fun and laughs, this is one of the recommended places to go. I since moved back to Alamogordo and I am looking forward to taking my granddaughter and a few others including my son who is my granddaughters father who was with me back in the 90's, he is now 23yrs old and looks forward to going hisself. and let me correct myself I did go back in 2003 with a older gentleman I tried to get on the floor, he couldn't do it, but he tried, he was 72. So now you know the arena is for all ages. read more

My cousin went their for a field trip he had to wait outside to be picked up I mean seriously it's supposed to be fun for kids or family

I have to say I have used the Rollarena ever since I was a kid back in the 60's then again for my daughter back in the 80's and now I am using it for my grand kids to have fun. The only thing I would say negative about the Rollarena would have to be their schedule and I have to also say I wish the price was a bit lower...when you have 2 kids just for 1 night you're looking at $16.00 for 3 hours of fun...that is if you need to rent blades regular stakes would save you $2.00. I would also like to see it get larger with maybe a beginners area off on the side from the main staking floor. Other than these things I love the place and it is on my 3rd generation...so that has to stand for something, right? Hope this helps anyone thinking about them. read more

This is a pretty good skating rink. I used to bring my younger daughter there from time to time until she decided that she had outgrown it and didn't want to go there anymore. read more
