The property manager is super nice and so are all the other workers. Good space for the price and great interactive community!

Campus Edge Apartments have been the most accommodating since I have moved in. They have multiple ways of reaching you with new information such as event days, packages received at the office and when rent is due. You have multiple options when it comes to paying rent such as money order, online, or with a credit card. They have a convenient website which lists line items for each charge on your bill. Leah is an excellent property manager and Colin is the best front desk attendant yet! They are quick and efficient when it comes to work orders and they always keep in touch with updates in the event they have to order new parts. The pool is kept clean and the clubhouse is spacious, includes a gym, and has plenty of activities for tenants and their guests to enjoy. They truly are understanding and will do the best that they can to help you as long as you communicate with them. The complex itself is VERY close to campus and Bowers Stadium & there is a CVS, corner store, and pizza place all within walking distance. I would recommend this place to anyone I know and I'm glad to live at Campus Edge.

AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!…read more The absolute worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. First and foremost, throughout my 2-year lease from July 2023-July 2025 my unit did not have hot water. We had 100 degree water so barely above body temperature. I stayed on maintenance about it weekly for months and it was never fixed. They "fixed" it for other buildings, but since I was the last on the outdated boiler system, I always took cold showers. I brought this up to maintenance, office staff, and the property manager and it was never fixed. I was expected to pay full rent without getting full amenities. Additionally, the apartment was not cleaned before I moved in and in fact still had trash and items from the previous tenants. I had to spend an entire day cleaning it before I could even move in. The carpet reeked of dog piss and still did even after a professional cleaning. Tbh it needed to be replaced, but it seems like they did not even check the unit out before handing me the keys. They also tried to charge me to replace the carpet, but luckily I got it clean enough before move out that they didn't. The office staff has laughed at my requests for hot water numerous times and always seem to lose documents. For example, both mine and my roommates room condition forms were lost. Thankfully I had a photo so they couldn't charge us for anything. Maintenance also took forever and would half ass their jobs. When my AC broke they refused to pay for a hotel when it was 90 degrees in my apartment in July. Overall a terrible terrible place to live. Save your money and sanity and go somewhere else. Also, before one of the office staff replies and says some bs about changing companies and leadership, that is not an excuse. The people working in the office right now are the same ones I dealt with. BEWARE

I stayed at The arbors for a 12 months lease term from July 2024 - July 2025. The only reason I…read moregave a 1 star review is because I couldn't leave anything less. The location of the apartment is great in regards to being close to campus and they don't tow on the property. Everything else about this complex is horrible, maintenance either takes 24 hours to get back to you or 2 weeks to get back to you. The people at the front desk are very sweet and help as best as they can, but when it comes to management it's horrible. Management is never in office, will never answer the phone, or never get back to your email. I moved out in July and payed off my final statement, it's now the end of November and I'm still getting billed that my balance hasn't been paid off. So if you're looking for an apartment that's close to campus but has the worst management I'd recommend the arbors!

I moved into the loft style apartment during the summer. My first night was miserable. The air…read moreconditioner was not turned on when I started moving (10am), so it was turned on when I got there. There is no central air, just a window unit, and it took 2days for the apartment to cool down. About a week later when I came home from school I noticed 20 Millipedes coming inside from my air conditioner unit. I took pictures of them, and counted, then wrote a work order for them to seal my unit better. The maintenance man said he could not do anything and just left. This was an issue all summer long. There was also no weather stripping on the front or back door. If you laid on the floor you could see outside. I had to go buy some. There were multiple soft spots on the floors which made me worried I was going to fall through the floor. The person living under me had leaks in her apartment. They kept coming into mine to seal my bathroom but that wasn't the issue, it's the piping. The water in the bathroom smelled like Sulfur, and the water in the kitchen sink didn't taste right. Buy bottled water. The apartment always had a mildew smell. I constantly vacuumed and sprayed but the smell never went away. These apartments need some serious renovations. I personally don't think it's safe to live here but i signed a year's lease and graduate soon. Finally if you plan on getting the loft style apartment beware. It's hard to keep the upstairs cool. I've had to sleep on an air mattress some nights downstairs because it's so warm. Also, good luck moving furniture upstairs. The spiral staircase makes it very difficult to get things upstairs.

If you complain about noise or illegal drug use, they'll tell you to call the police. Whom do I rent from DTI or the cops?! I had an ongoing issue with either the A/C or heat or both not working for 6! Months. The kicker was when they cemented my car in the wall. There was a leak ( another one). They go up in rent every year. Do not update. Pools weren't working on several occasions. Laundromat is unreliable. You will not get refunded. Do yourself a favor and rent somewhere else.

Republic Review (2025-2026) One of THE worst apartments to…read morelive in Huntsville, Texas, DO NOT LIVE HERE! I am a first time renter and started going to Sam in 2024, so my experience will be different. When my roommates and I had come to tour, we asked the right questions, rent was cheap and resident friendly. The first issue was move-in day, I had a 4x4 bedroom on the first floor and was expecting to live with my roommates/friends; instead I was greeted with a demolished restroom, I'm talking no toilet, sink or floor. Turns out I wasn't the only one, my other roommate also did not have a restroom. Angry was an understatement that day, so I went to management and asked to be moved to a different unit. They gave my roommate and I two options: one, move into another unit with different roommates, or two, move into a 2x2 on the third floor 2x the price. OH, and they wouldn't accommodate NOR negotiate the price to be lower, so that was fun. My roommate and I went with option one. Fun fact, my roommate and I were not alone on move in day there were other tenants who had the following issues: mold on the ceilings, walls, fans, etc, fleas and one of the worst ones was a dead rat on the bed. The second issue came right as I moved into my new unit. For context, I have an ESA cat and management didn't think to call the tenant living there already if they had an allergy to cats. Oh my god, the ants, they were EVERYWHERE! The bathroom, my carpet, some were on the walls, but most were in my cat's bowl. I had made an emergency maintenance request for some pesticide to be sprayed in my room, they never came! So I had go out of my way and get some bug spray with MY money! Every week, I had to spray corners of my room just so my cat could eat. Maintenance came to the unit two months later and asked if I still needed it to be sprayed. Next issue, my shower in the new unit, after a long and frustrating day, I needed to cool off and take a shower but my shower had no hot water. I had to shower in one of my friends apartment that day and cried after. There were many other issues but what really makes the Republic SO frustrating is maintenance AND management. If you make a request, don't expect maintenance to come and fix it because then they'll say the job was completed even though we had a ring camera and no one would come to the apartment! And don't even get me started with management, Republic went through at least five different managers. And each one of them had the maintenance's back when maintenance lied to my face. Don't come here unless you want cheap rent and terrible maintenance service. And I haven't even finished my lease yet...

On top of everything if you leave your key fob inside sometimes maintenance will come in and lock your door and hou will be locked out then they charge you a fee for locking you out of your apartment.
