Mike and Gina really went above and beyond to provide a private catering this week, with very short notice! The food was coming out hot and fresh, coming out with short wait times which kept the line flowing smooth. The portions were large and the fries perfectly seasoned. Hands down the BEST burgers in Polk County! My only complaint is that I could get them 7 days a week. Seriously, the food is priced extremely fair and the portions are huge. You certainly won't go hungry! Mike and Gina set up in our community a few times and it's been amazing. Every single neighbor absolutely raves about their food AND service! I'm not sure what these two can't cook, because everything we've tried from the burgers to tamales, to tacos, and baked goods, has been delish! Greate people and great food! Stellar food truck experience, as a consumer and as a "hoster" of an event by them. They are very experienced and independent. You provide the advertising/PR/customers and they do their thing. They take pre-orders and walk-ups. Their menu is varied and delicious. Meals are huge, at least 2 meals. The seasoned fries have a hint of sweetness. I enjoyed their olive burger. Other popular items were their gyros and fried shrimp. They did not have their falafel but did have jalapeno poppers. They didn't have 2 desserts but the brownies were delicious. I was able to try The Rolling Gourmet at a food truck event held at GEICO. I didn't know what to expect because I never saw this truck before. I was blown away by the customer service and the flavors, seasoning, and juiciness of the burger! I wanted the BBQ bacon burger, but they ran out of bacon. I was the last customer and was surprised they took my order because it was a minute prior to the event ending. Other food trucks closed up. The young man was polite, friendly, and excited I was coming to the food truck. He knocked off $1 because the bacon ran out, but I was just fine with that. I said I didn't want fries because I didn't think I would eat them. 7 minutes later I was asked what toppings I wanted and he offered me EVERYTHING. I only had onions put on the burger. He handed me the burger and handed me a tray of fries stating that I needed fries with my burger. I was so grateful for this and provided a tip for the incredible service. The burger was greasy, but oh my goodness was it amazing. One of the best I have had. This is my first 5 star review for a food truck and it deserved it. The BBQ sauce, incredible onions, cheese, and burger melted in my mouth. I couldn't stop eating it. The fries were incredible as well with intense flavor coming from the seasoning. Quality food with great people. I have been let down so many times with subpar food trucks, but I was EXTREMELY satisfied with this experience and will be looking specifically for this truck at all events. I am always hesitant to eat out of a food truck, but OMG...this food is amazing!! We had the pulled pork sandwich with fries, it was moist and very flavorful! The bun was soft and fresh and the fries were seasoned nice!! We get lots of food trucks that come to our office and The Rolling Gourmet is hands down the best!! Also, say some of the burgers coming out to other patrons and they looked amazing too! Can't wait to try one next time! I ate here when they were at a 4th of July event in the Waterset subdivision. They were slammed, but they got our food out within a reasonable amount of time and did so with a smile on their face! I had the falafel pita, hubs had the beef tacos, and we shared the seasoned fries. The flavor in all three was amazing! It was so good, I went back for their business card, so I could come visit them at another location in the future! The amount of food you got for the price was great also! I was starving, but I couldn't even finish the large portion they gave me of falafel pita...and for about $8. Will definitely return here in the future! read more

This team is an awesome bunch. They were all super friendly, and understood the meaning of customer service. The food itself was great. We tried the falafel bites and the fries. Both were great, but those fries were a whole new level. I don't know what they put on those fries, but they were some of the best fries I've ever had!!!! This is a well constructed Burger. Every ingredient seems to be well thought through. Great quality meat, good bun and all the other flavors and ingredients work together. I chose for my first meal a Hot & Sweet Burger. I have never cried while eating a Burger before but this Burger was hot, sweet and awesome! I was a little Leary of the fries because it said seasoned and I expected the battered type seasoned fries which I'm not to fond of but these were just regular fries seasoned with a really good seasoning. I like this truck and the folks that run it and I look forward to trying something new soon. read more

The food truck participated at the Continental Hotel monthly food truck event. (Kennedy & Westshore). I had the pulled port sandwich, very delicious and the fries were awesome. I did want to try the falafel but it was 6 med. sized disc shape for $5. The lady was very sweet to give me a sample, but I got a better value with the pork sandwich with fries for $7. read more

This Food Truck is Amazing!! I would rate it higher if I could - a 10 for sure. I'm one of the lucky ones that are able to dine at the Rolling Gourmet weekly (they come to my job). Their Pulled Pork puts bbq houses to shame! Seasoned fries .. OMG. I recommend the pulled pork over the fries (my personal fav). Just ask them to hold the bun when you order.
