One of my favorite local courses is Rolling Meadows Golf Club near Marysville. This little gem is excellent for golfers of all skill levels. The clubhouse is "no frills" but the course is well maintained and the staff is friendly. You can book your tee time online which makes check in simple. This would be a great place to hold a golf outing or just to get together with some friends. Only 10 minutes from Dublin this course is easy to get to and a good time whenever I play there

Took the day off Friday before Memorial Day to have a little "me" day out on the golf course. Decided to try out Rolling Meadows. It was relatively inexpensive compared to other courses around and I wasn't looking for anything fancy for my first round of the year. $30 for 18 holes including a cart, PRETTY GOOD! I got there 20 mins before my tee time and still didn't get out in time due to the credit card machine taking FOREVER to process credit cards. Also, the man working the inside seemed to not really be in much of a hurry as I finally got up to the counter told him my tee time was 5 mins ago and he fielded a phone call, chatted on the phone for a minute or two, and slowly checked my name for a tee time. It was kind of rude and the line was getting pretty knowingly frustrated. He wasn't overly friendly either so the service was kind of a miss for me. The course itself wasn't bad, there was a hole or two that had pretty muddy/sloppy fairways but for the most part, it was kept up pretty well and the greens were in good condition. There were plenty of age ranges there for a Friday morning and pace of play was good. The carts are older but still work fine, that's why they make golf tracking apps. I liked that they didn't have someone on the first hole to check tee times and make sure everyone was going out when they were supposed to which helped with me running late from the clubhouse and made me feel a little less pressure. Overall decent course and good for the price. Just needed a bit of improved service for a better rating. I would probably go back and give it another shot when I just want to play a round on my own tho.

Great course, very reasonable rates, and friendly staff. Can't wait to get back out here and play again next time I'm in town!

Today however was a complete disaster. We got stuck behind this group that just wouldn't let us play through, we asked, 6 times as a matter of fact. This is an exhausting effort with courses like this. Every group in front of these human slugs were gone. They even started to do the slow play on purpose at times by taking 5-7 practice swings a piece and slowing down. I saw 50 million mowers on the course but no one keeping up on pace of play. I mean obviously my review wont hurt business but I don't have to drive 40 minutes from the far side of Columbus to deal with this mess. If anyone else is in my shoes, beware, the round could be lengthy. It just goes to show you that people in the area have no concept of golf etiquette or time. I don't think I can come back to play here again. Ill have to play either Darby Creek or Rolling Meadows who both are pretty amazing at keeping the course on track by letting faster groups play through.

Coming into the course, I was on some ole' Ohio back roads but it opened up once near the course. The front nine was loaded with trees left and right of the fairways so drivers had to stay low and roll. Not many straight up Par 4's, more dog legs of anything. The Par 3 on hole 7 had the only water on the front 9 so it's very dry. The back nine I would say it more difficult. More water on the Par 3 into a Par 5. More bunkers and more trees. You really don't need driver on majority Par 4's as you may be in trouble. 4-5-6 iron off the tee would work best. Overall, good course and solid gem in north western Columbus area.

She bosses you around and instantly makes your mood drop. Play is very slow even on a Monday non league night or morning. The course itself is decent, greens are nice but a lot of patchy spots in fairways and ruff. Half of the carts brakes even work! And being the home course of a major champion, I wonder why it isn't up to par. Mill Creek needs a big change and building an addition to add simulators instead of using that money to better the course just shows how all that they care about is money. I hope that one day mill creek changes it's ways and get rid of that old hag at the front desk!!

If I could afford this area, I would definitely join the country club. What I like about it was the service inside is great, they have a bar area and restaurant. Also a fitness center and ballroom. I spent time in their ballroom where my friend Natalie was hosting her Peletonia Fit Fashion show last night. Bobby Carpenter, former Ohio State Buckeye and current radio commentator for 97.1, The Fan hosted the show. A.J. Hawk's wife Laura Hawk was there as well with her fitness line. Shelley Meyer was introducing her Bend Active line which I completely love! As well as Step up for Stefanie Speilman was there. I loved the show and the energy the models brought to the fitness lines. If I were to ever pick a country club in the Northwest area I would probably join it would be Tartan Fields as it feels more exclusive and we have a wide array of options with this country club. Tartan Fields feels like a more family friendly setting which I love. If you need a great place to golf, join a country club, or even an event look no further than Tartan Fields. Great atmosphere here and I would totally come back if I could afford it!

Saturday my dad and I arrived around 10:30 and found ample parking in the lot right across from the course. Entering the tournament was fairly painless. Dad and I walked the entire course over the two days following the leaders and getting up close to a lot of the golfers. What a beautiful course Muirfield is, someday I hope to play it. Food was good, we had a turkey cheddar sandwich both days for lunch and a few waters. I highly recommend checking out the memorial tournament, in fact next year I'm going to volunteer.
