I am a travel nurse and was leaving in days on a journey to Washington 2000 miles away, and Jason was able to service my AC and even fabricated a lock to safely hold up drop-down bed. In answer to your rebuttal, another contractor came to my house 2 days after you were here and had no problem doing exactly as I had asked, clean the carb and refurb the system, without having to buy the $799 you were going to charge me for new parts. The whole job was done in 1.5 hours for $454.00 plus a $150 trip charge, verses the $1,486.00 you were going to charge me in labor, plus the $700.00 you charged me to drive to my house to tell me there was nothing you could do. You thought you could rip off a 70-year old grandmother for all you could get! I hope other people read this so you don't continue to rip off the smart ones who understand what a scam artist you are! read more

On their initial visit, the tech told us how to reset our side slide which was experiencing uneven movement and sticking. They also set an appointment for the following week to repair or our furnace. They showed up early for the repair and it wound up being $200 less than the original quote. They removed the furnace and cleaned out the mess left by dirt daubers (thanks previous owner!), then reinstalled and made sure the screen was in place to prevent future problems. My husband took our 2005 Subaru Outback here after we purchased it used to get it checked out and…read moreget a list of what all needed to be done on it. The car wasn't super well-loved, if you know what I mean, so we knew it would need some work. He was at AWD for several hours (he made an appointment) during which time they were not even looking at the car. When they finally did pull it in to take a look, they came back with an eye-watering estimate that included a full transmission rebuild! We were shocked to hear this, as the transmission was one of the items we were not concerned about. The car has a manual transmission with a short-throw sport shifter, and we had no issues with it at all. They did list off a few other things, including some oil leaks we were pretty sure were there, but the transmission quote really threw us for a loop. We took the car to another shop, Hackler Transmissions, to get a second opinion. We've taken a prior car with a manual transmission to them, and trust them. Hackler popped in the car, took it for quick spin, took a quick look under the hood, and told us it didn't need a thing done to the transmission. Everything worked fine, no issues. Also, no charge from Hackler for taking a look. We took the car to another shop to start having the engine work done and it did need a reseal, which AWD mentioned, so they were right about that, which is why they get 2 stars instead of one. Bottom line, though, is they were shady and dishonest about the transmission, and wanted to charge close to $3,000 for a rebuild it didn't need. Needless to say, we will never come back and will not recommend AWD to anyone else. Oh, and the shop we now go to has a Subaru enthusiast as one of the advisors, and he mentioned he did not trust AWD with his Subaru, either. There are too many dishonest auto shops in the world, it's a shame that AWD is choosing to be one of them.

When there was a problem with what Forest River advertised and what they actually put on the unit, Lisa, the manager made it right. As with anything, there were some things that needed to be corrected from the manufacture as part of the service warranty and Dave's service team (JT in particular) was awesome and timely. Dropped off 2 PWC cylinders on JULY 20TH to be blasted, bored, honed, and decked. Was given an…read moreestimate that they would work on them AUG 11TH and should have them done mid to late Aug. Called them on AUG 23RD and was told they blasted them and should be a few more weeks. Ok, no big deal I understand delays happen. Called again multiple times in mid/late Sept and got the same response. I'm starting to get a little frustrated at this point. Called again beginning of October and the same thing "the tech is measuring them and we should know in the next few days what pistons you need, I will call you once I know more". By now boating season is wrapping up. Finally said screw it and drove to the shop and picked them up OCT 24TH. During the span of 3 months, I never received 1 call about the status of the work, delays, or any info. Clearly my business is not important to them so I decided to take it elsewhere. I've been more than patient and understanding about the delays, but at a certain point I'm tired of being lied to. If you're a racer or have a trip or some sort of hard deadline you need a project finished by, I'd recommend going elsewhere. Also, in regards to the media blasting that they did do, I was told the coolant passages would be cleaned out and cylinder looking like new. Still lots of paint and corrosion everywhere on the cylinders and coolant passages. Lack of attention to detail and care for the customer. Will never do business with them and do not recommend.

I had a problem with my black tank. It actually fell from my travel trailer and caused a lot of damage. I live in my RV so needed to get it fixed as sone as possible, I called five different Mobile RV repair businesses, and everyone told me they wouldn't even come and look at it much less fix it. I was getting worried that I wouldn't be able to find anyone to fix it. I came across Rolling Wrenches and called it was around 3:00 and he answered instead of getting voice mail. I explained what happened he ask if I could send him a pic. which I did and he got back with me in a matter of mins. Not only did he say he could fix it but as soon as he was finished with the job he was working on he came to me. He worked well after dark but when he left it was fixed and working. While he was here, he showed me how to make my AC run more effectively and it made a noticeable difference. He was professional, knowledgeable and explained everything that he did. It was the best experience by far that I have had with a RV repair business. Highly recommended. Will use again. read more

Jason at Rolling Wrenches did a fantastic job helping us out of a serious bind. We were in Flower Mound getting ready to start our trip back to Wisconsin. I noticed our back awning was drooping and upon inspection realized it was coming off the trailer. On short notice Jason agreed to come out and take a look. He identified that the awning was never installed properly and fixed it in intense heat! We had to leave the next day so he saved our bacon! I would use him again anytime!
