This understanding was confirmed multiple times. However, on the actual day of closing, I was told that my aunt must be placed on the title/deed in order to proceed. I was put under pressure at the last minute and felt forced to close under terms that were not previously agreed upon. This felt misleading and unprofessional. A decision as serious as property ownership should never be changed at the closing table with no warning. I trusted this company to protect my interests, and instead I was placed in a very difficult legal situation. Marc Elias is none of those. He works with both buyers & sellers on a personal basis with a complete understanding of the emotional impact on his clients.
