Worst company out there. They sent a beat up truck with what looked like criminals who kept asking for tips. They damaged our floors and half of our belongings. They quoted us a price and it ended up being three times what was quoted. NEVER use this company! read more

Bought a large French door fridge with a bottom freezer from Best Buy in Winnipeg. It was delivered June 16 by Robert and Kendall of Rolly's Transfer to our home in Selkirk Mb. Kendall called to let us know where they were and when to expect them and then again when they were outside our home. These guys were terrific! First, they had to remove the doors from our old fridge and get it outside for us. This was not easy as we live in a bi-level with 8 steps up to the main floor. Then they had to bring in the new fridge - again, not an easy task. They were both so pleasant and patient. Kendall advised us to let the fridge sit for at least an hour before plugging it in. He was very informative and good about explaining things, He and Robert worked well together and the whole delivery went smoothly and quickly. Worst moving experience i've ever had. My partner and i needed to move 2 years ago and to avoid the worry of not having enough energy for work we decided to pay this company to move our stuff from my basement suite to another house less than 5 minutes away. Apparently my partner had a good experience with them for her move into my suite prior so i decided to give them a go. The first thing i saw when i opened the door to these guys was a very uhappy to be there grumpy gus of a person. We nonetheless brought the two movers inside to show them what needed to move. The man in charge seemed to remember my partner and got visibly upset that we had requested a move so soon(6 months) after her last one. I believe he was upset that it was out of a tight basement but thats part of the reason we hired them. Throughout the move he was forcefully moving stuff through the stairwell, at one point leaping from the top of the stairs onto a folded up matress to force it down into the basement. At another point he was taking a break in the truck and so i went to see if he needed any water or something and he was just raging in the back of the truck, obviously angry. The final straw was when he left my expensive desk top leaning against the wall at vertical level which ended up falling over when the door was closed and the air pressure changed. it fell right onto the keyboard drawer, breaking the rails and making it unusable. Wish I would've called his supervisor at the first sign of him being destructive. DO NOT USE ROLLY TRANSFER. read more

I was moving out of my apartment into a house and got everything boxed up for them and ready to move so there was no hand towels or soap in thd bathroom. The older of the two movers must have used the washroom at least 6 times in the 2 1/2 hours it took for them to load up the truck and at one point though is he stealing medication out of the medicine cabinet? So after he took a shit or a piss 6 times or stole some pills and couldn't wash his hands he then proceeded to move all my furniture with his dirty hands. The two guys that showed up looked like they had been out on a bender the night before and were in rough shape. I left for a few minutes to take some throw pillows to my friend in another apartment down the hall and when i got back the younger mover was drinking water right out of the kitchen tap with his lips on the faucet. I emailed Rolly's twice never got s respons, will never in a million years use their services again and will continue to relay my experience to anyone thinking of hiring them and thd icing on the cak they took my bed frame apart snd put it back together backward... idiots read more

Rolly's couldn't be bothered to even respond to my request for a quote. So I was quite happy to take my business elsewhere.

I had a move booked originally for this Saturday and wanted to change it to this Friday instead if possible. I called on the Tuesday to see if that would work. Although they said it was a pretty busy day they could fit me in but couldn't commit to a time yet. They would call me Thursday. That was great! Well they called Thursday to tell me that can't fit me until Saturday! Well, with moving and tons of stuff going one day makes a big difference! Especially with less than 24 hours notice!They were NOT apologetic at all. It is the way it is. Must've been a misunderstanding. Too bad for me. I asked to speak to the owner who continued on further with how he probably lost business for the Saturday since i had changed my appt. So now it's my fault that i somehow misunderstood an appointment that is pretty critical when it comes to moving. AND now i messed up his business. WOW! He had no qualms with the issue. And seemed happy to get me off the phone and lose my business. Thank goodness another moving company could help me out!! So disappointed in Rolly's. I have used them before and so have people i know. I thought they gave a crap about their customers. Guess not. read more
