The complex who you sign a lease with pays PROMOV. This saves TONS of time & money. My contact at PROMOVE was "Markisha Foster." I shared that I don't want to live near anyone smoking weed, shouting and fighting, a place with garbage & empty bottles strewn around, loud music, anyone selling drugs, breaking into cars and racing through in their cars like others and children don't live there. She asked what neighborhoods I found interesting? I said; Roswell, Marietta, Smyrna, Vinings and possibly Buckhead. She said give her a few hours and she'd get back to me. The very first place she recommended was a place in Smyrna named, "Park At Vinings". She said, "Judging by what you requested? Your gonna love this place." I liked what I saw online, asked her to set me up an appointment and take it from there. I don't like to jump into anything regardless of how I "feel" about it. I have to make an educated decision based on many factors. With that said.... When you first arrive there's a long roadway from the main road that you have to drive down so you really can't see much of the place from the road. It's a MASSIVE complex yet still...tucked away. I phoned the office and was greeted by a wonderful lady named, "Trina Slade". She instructed me on how to get to the leasing office. When I first entered, Trina greeted me with a big smile and a "Welcome!" Trina asked how I discovered them, what I was looking for and if I had any special requirements. I told her and she listened intently taking it all in. She showed me an illustration of everything available, asked which I would like to see, requested my I.D. and we were off! We hopped into one of those little golf carts and she delighted on how much she loved working there and how this place was like no other she'd worked. A few residents greeted her with a smile and light convo (ALWAYS a good sign with property Mgmt.) I took in all the little children playing, riding their bikes, people walking their little dogs, couples striding hand in hand, joggers and families just...living. I felt an exceptionally strong sense of family and shared values here. Nooo funny business. The pool was one of the most lovely I've seen in Atlanta, it's a winding resort style pool with plenty of seating. There seemed to be ample parking and lots of trees. I requested an upper unit because big roaches are usually found scurrying around most ground "garden units" in woodsy areas in The South & I'm not a fan. A 2nd floor unit wasn't available to be seen at that time so Trina showed me a garden unit that would have an almost identical layout to an upper unit soon to be available. From the moment I walked in, I liked it. 1333 sqft. Spacious, clean, with a much different layout to any others I'd seen. Big bedrooms, nice living room, lots of cabinets & closet space and even a large day room with skylights! I was in love with it. Just my kind of place. Markisha was spot on with this recommendation. I would DEFINITELY recommend Ms. Trina Slade and PAV to anyone in the market for a new apartment. She's patient, polite and won't stop until your satisfied and the place is beautiful. I contacted PROMOVE while trying to find safe housing for my family due to serious habitability and…read moremaintenance issues at my previous residence, including concerns that impacted my child's health. Instead of being treated with empathy or professionalism, I was spoken to in a very rude and dismissive manner by Chanel Douglas. After explaining my situation, I was told she could not help me, could not refer me to anyone else, and that she "worked for herself" and did not have a supervisor. My concerns were not simply about wanting to break a lease. I had already documented unresolved maintenance issues, including heating and flooding concerns, and ultimately had to vacate the property because the conditions were no longer safe for my family. I later received a response from the company stating they reviewed my file and that the conversation was related to lease obligations. However, that completely missed the point of my concern. My issue was the lack of compassion, professionalism, and willingness to assist someone dealing with a difficult housing situation involving safety and medical concerns. Clients reaching out for housing assistance should be treated respectfully, especially when they are already under stress. Based on my experience, I did not feel heard or supported.

We sold our home within 24 hours at its listing price and fielded multiple offers. It went as well as we could have hoped and dreamed and coincided perfectly with our home purchase happening simultaneously (our sale/purchase closings were one week apart from each other!). Will negotiated thoughtful on our behalf and included things we would have never thought of independently (e.g., free temporary occupancy of our home for two months, just in case our home purchase was stalled in any way) and provided expert counsel throughout about engaging effectively with potential buyers, considering offers, and then walking through the sale process with our buyers. We did a lot of research prior to listing our home/purchasing our next one - spoke with several traditional seller's agents, read articles, considered the option of doing a FSBO, and also met with Will at Redefy. When we decided to go with Redefy, we had heeded and considered concerns about pitfalls we may encounter. Weighing everything, and after reviewing what Will and Redefy had to offer - we decided to try out this flat-rate, full-service model and I'm thrilled that we did. Will came over for an in-person consultation, coached us through the process, responded to text/e-mails/calls with expediency, helped us stage the space, helped us negotiate thoughtfully, handled all of the paperwork, and sent over an incredible photographer on his own dime. He was there at closing, even though he was in the middle of building a playground for his children's school (I mean, that's amazing!) Here's the kicker: I honestly can't think of what he didn't do that a traditional agent would have done. Seriously. And instead of 3%, we paid $3000. We saved over $9000. For us, the savings truly mattered and were considerable. Being able to maintain more of the proceeds from the sale enabled us to prepare financially for the birth of our second child and set up our space in our new home. As first time sellers, we were initially a bit nervous about the level of support we'd receive in navigating a process so far outside of our experience and expertise, but these fears were largely unfounded. I encourage anyone trying to decide about Redefy and its position within the larger real estate game, to do their own research, consider their goals/markets, and individual needs -- and if it were me, I'd do it all over 1000X and suggest Will and Redefy to any and all of my friends. They list your home and drop a sign in your front yard and leave a bluetooth lockbox on your front door. The listings are in FMLS, MLS and all the websites (zillow, etc). They charge $300 for the listing up front (which is actually normal pricing to list) then you pay the remaining $3000 at closing. Literally as simple as that. They utilizing the ShowtingTime app on your phone so all listings are approved by you. I listed my house to give 3% to the buyer's agent which gives the incentive for all realtors to show your home. My home sold in just 3 weeks. Overall the experience with Redefy was great. The only downfall was communication could be slow at times, as you're not working with your personal realtor but more of a company. It was never bad though, and I never had an issue. Just note that if you have a question/concern/issue, you may not hear back immediately (but you will usually within 24 hours). But, you are saving thousands but going with Redefy, so that's a small price to pay. Danielle is the main point of contact for closing, and she's AWESOME to work with. Overall I highly recommend Redefy from my experience!! Everyone was great to work with and as stated, I saved $9,500!

The home has a severe plumbing problem that repeatedly causes sewage to back up into the toilets, bathtubs, and even the basement. This is not a minor issue, it is a serious health and safety concern. Despite this ongoing problem, I was still charged numerous fees, including erroneous and unexplained charges, and eviction actions were filed that did not fairly reflect the situation. There was little to no effort to properly resolve the plumbing issues or show consideration for the living conditions, everything felt driven solely by money rather than tenant safety or professionalism. This experience caused extreme stress and hardship. I strongly advise anyone considering renting from this company to proceed with caution, ask detailed questions, and document everything.
