Unfortunately the old Asian man sold this to someone else who is absolutely rude and demeaning towards customers. Prices have increased and the worst part, is the horrible service I received. It's not the first time, but I believe in second chances. Ultimately I decided I won't ever set foot in that place again. Nor my friends or family members. Luckily for me, on my drive away from Victor's, I came across G&S Test only Smog Check and it was definitely a blessing in disguise I didn't spend my money at Victor Smog Test. Service was awesome, guy was professional and friendly. Unlike the shady guys at Victor's. I'm definitely going to file a complaint with the BBB about this place and hopefully they get red-flagged by the DMV.

Requested diagnostics done followed by valve replacement with head machined…read more. Total price was suppose to be $800 total. He charged me $900. The job was suppose to be done in 3 days but he kept my car for 5 days. When he returned the car to me he informed me the transmission was slipping badly. The transmission was fine when I dropped the car off. I drove it and sure enough it was slipping. I said it was the shift solenoids . He said he would change the fluid, filter and clean the solenoids for an additional $300. He didn't show up to do the work so I started looking around the engine. I fold the transmission ground wire was disconnected. It's located between the firewall and the engine and is held on with a 1/2" long bolt. I reconnected the ground and took it for a test drive. the transmission ran just as it did before this guy worked on it. He worked on the left side cylinder head only and there was no need for him to disconnect the transmission ground wire. I believe he was trying to get me to pay him $300 for work that didn't need done. He won't even respond to my text messages or phone calls. By the way, this guy is a mobile mechanic.
