I had Romanoff install floors at my residence trough Home Depot. Let me start by saying it was a nightmare. Stay away from this Co. The installer was unreliable and unprofessional. A job that they were going to start on Monday and finish on Thursday, started actually on Thursday. The installer was totally unprepared when he arrived to my home. Now this people knew about this job for months, the contract was in place since August and now in December they come unprepared. First day he said he had not the tools needed, Tuesday he did not show, Wednesday he broke the tool and left. Thursday finished poorly one room out of five. They did not met the required installation time and the job was not well done. I was left with this and had to hire another Co. to finish the job. This is only one pic of the room he did and could not even complete the job. Stay away! read more

These people are crooks! Do not use them. They never show up the scheduled date. They make up dumb excuses and are so unprofessional. They charge too much for their awful service. They made me pick up the supplies. I had to rent a trailer just to transport my supplies to the house and they still have not come out to install my flooring and they literally live 15 minutes from the house I am renovating. Do not use them. I am unsure why Home Depot even uses them. read more

The carpet installers scuffed the baseboards, a door frame, and a door. I thought it was excessive, but I was not going to lodge a complaint. Then Romanoff Renovations contacted me to be sure I was "completely satisfied." I clearly was not and reached out to them to let them know I was not "completely satisfied." They asked if I would submit photos, which I did. Then the office manager never contacted me in regard to those photos, which I sent to a sweet, accommodating employee on her personal cell, who assured me she would forward those photos to the office manager. She said she would have the office manager contact me after she saw the photos to determine the next action. I reminded the accommodating employee I had not heard back from anyone, and I was going ahead with my survey, which would be based on what action was taken by close of business, three days, after the photos were submitted. I told her the lack of communication was inexcusable. Again, she was most pleasant. It was clear she was not the one to make any decisions regarding the problem. Of course, I will have to hire a painter to come in and repair the excessive damage done by this company's carpet installers, which by the way, were very nice guys. I would never allow them to do work for me again, thus I will avoid shopping at Home Depot for anything that would require contractors from this company. I usually say it's never too late for folks to do the right thing, so we shall see in this case. read more

Romanoff installed our carpet in the family room. The two guys did an amazing job! The scheduled install window was between 1pm- 4pm, they arrived at 12:56pm, wonderful! They introduced themselves and got started right away. They asked me to come and look at the rolled carpet and the pad, to be sure it's exactly what I ordered. They didn't mess around. They cleaned up as they were working and when the installation was completed. (Swept & Vacuumed). Additionally, I have a small closet in the hall that I wanted carpet in. I asked Luis "if there's any carpet leftover could you put it in this closet"? He said yes. Then I showed him two more, he laughed and said" No problem". He and his partner did them so quickly, I didn't see them measure, next thing I saw was them bringing in the cut carpet piece's ready to be installed!!! Which was done exceptionally as well. My husband and I are very pleased. I can't say enough about their knowledge, professionalism, etc. I will say... You don't get this type of service often enough today! read more

We had our floors installed as well as a backsplash in one week. I can't speak for all of Romanoff, but from Mrs. Tracy, to the two installers (Mrs. Jackie and Mr. Mitchell), they were all professional, courteous and respectful that we were living in the home during installation. They told us each day what to expect and worked hard and long each day. I would recommend them to anyone for any service. They deserve so much more than 5*. Richard and Christian did a wonderful, professional carpet installation job for us. Seams are invisible, walls tucked in properly, cleaned up after the job nicely, and the two men worked very hard and fast. Lori, at the Romanoff office, whom I communicated with about the scheduling and work, was honest, factual and personal yet professional. I highly recommend Romanoff and Home Depot.
