The day of installation, I immediately noticed very visible seams throughout the rooms, as well as an obvious patch in my hallway. I pointed these issues out to both the installation crew and my contractor. I was told the seams were "normal" and caused by my rooms having "odd shapes." That explanation never made sense, especially since the patch in the hallway was glaringly obvious. When I requested that the work be corrected, instead of addressing the problem, I received a phone call from Rusty himself. He was noticeably unpleasant and seemed far more focused on getting paid by my contractor than ensuring I was a satisfied customer. I should have never been put in the middle of that, but my contractor chose not to assist and left me to deal with the subcontractor directly. Fast forward nine months, with three months still remaining on my one-year warranty. I called Rusty's again because the seams had not improved at all, despite being told they would "blend" over time with vacuuming. One of the lead installers came to inspect the issue. He made it clear he wasn't thrilled to be there and again blamed the carpet itself. If that's truly the case, why sell customers carpet that cannot be properly seamed? To their credit, they did attempt to re-patch the worst area in my hallway, but it remains very visible and far from acceptable. If you value quality workmanship, professionalism, and customer service, I strongly recommend avoiding Rusty's Floor Coverings. My experience has been frustrating, uncomfortable, and ultimately unresolved.

A job that they were going to start on Monday and finish on Thursday, started actually on Thursday. The installer was totally unprepared when he arrived to my home. Now this people knew about this job for months, the contract was in place since August and now in December they come unprepared. First day he said he had not the tools needed, Tuesday he did not show, Wednesday he broke the tool and left. Thursday finished poorly one room out of five. They did not met the required installation time and the job was not well done. I was left with this and had to hire another Co. to finish the job. We had issues w their finance department (my card was charged at no explanation, my invoices didn't break down the pricing one bit- extremely confusing and sketchy, etc.), overpriced in my opinion (coming from a family of interior designers and builders), took forever for my materials to arrive in store only to find out that it would not work in our home due to unlevel flooring (which was not mentioned when they came out to measure/look at the home), wanted to charge me a restocking fee because the flooring that took forever to come in did not work in our home. Business was unorganized and sloppy. One person would say my materials had arrived the next would say they haven't come in, etc etc. The installer told us that they were ripping us off and offered to install it under the table if we bought materials. We did. He sucked too. Cancelled on us multiple times and did a terrible job w installation (my father laid tile for years and was shocked at how poorly he did). The only flooring we ended up purchasing from them was carpet. The carpet install looked nice but they never installed the carpet in the master closet (which we paid for). Our quartz counters were installed. The installers made the wrong cut and then told my husband that I told them to do it.. So we had to hire a contractor to cover up the gap between my cabinets and sink and my faucet is now too close to the sink. We have had the counters for less than 3 months and they are scratched and stained (which is strange because quartz is known for durability and I am a clean freak/have never made a cut w out a cutting board). Wouldn't be surprised if it isn't real quartz!! Sketchy business. Do NOT. DO NOT purchase anything from this store. You WILL regret it.

I am very dissatisfied with Quality Essentials Renovations (QE). I hired them to replace the…read moreshingles on my main home and the metal awning over my 4-car carport. They showed up as promised for my estimate, climbed up on the roof, took pictures, and provided me with a full report of wind/hail damage for $100. They initially impressed me with their quick professional sounding "roof-speak". They are knowledgeable about how homeowners insurance works and helped guide me through that process. On September 19, 2019, a crew replaced shingles on my main home, and the metal roofing over my carport. I was informed that someone would return to perform a final "Quality Assurance Inspection, which simply meant one of their own representatives would climb up on the roof to inspect for proper installation. Shouldn't a 3rd party do that? Anyway, no "inspector" ever came back despite my numerous requests. I needed that final inspection before I could obtain my roof warranty documents. In the mean time, within 3 weeks of the installation, rains came and my metal roofing began leaking in at least 4 places. I attempted to contact QE for several months to ask if they would come look at my leaking metal roof and perform that final inspection. Occasionally, they would respond and promise to send someone, but no one ever came. Excuse after excuse. I texted them pictures of the leaks. Finally, on October 29th, I received disturbing texts from the representative informing me 1) "Safety comes first and I'm not allowed to go climbing up a wet ladder. 2) "this drip is happening on the exterior portion of your home. It's not damaging anything". (How would he know, he hadn't come to see it yet). 3) "There are other service calls that take priority", and lastly he texted this 4) "Not sure what else I can say but your welcome for getting your roof paid for, your welcome for not charging you your deductible, your free upgrade and o yeah putting insurance funds back into your pocket". Those are his exact words/spellings taken from his texts. How's that for customer service? I have no clue what "free upgrade" he is referring to, there is no mention of it in my contract. I did indeed pay my deductible! My insurance company took it directly from the settlement disbursement. On October 27, 2019, I took action through the Better Business Bureau. This prompted another unprofessional text from QE ..."Filing a BBB complaint is not going to make the scheduling any faster, and I really find it insulting". He found it insulting? I found it insulting that I had a newly installed leaking metal roof and still no final inspection or warranty documents, or promise of a remedy. The BBB contacted me and said QE was not responding to their attempts to mitigate the issue. They lowered QEs' BBB rating to a" C-" in Georgia. Just as a side note, they opened a business in Enterprise, Alabama and their BBB rating is still an "A" down there. I doubt that will last long. I did eventually receive my warranty documents on the shingled roof. I had to call the shingle company and they graciously emailed them to me, but to date, no one from QE has ever returned to do that final Quality Assurance Inspection. I eventually contacted a professional roofing contractor to come to my home and inspect my metal roofing. He advised it had not been installed to code and needed to be completely re-done. Disappointed, and with no other options, I retained an attorney. QE responded to my attorney's letters by twice promising to come and look at the metal roof, but again, both times, no show. My attorney reached them by phone and finally they sent someone to temporarily seal the leaks with "butter", which is a type of sealant that is supposed to be applied along the seams of piece of laid metal as it is being installed. QE did not do this to mine. My metal roof is now buckling and bowing (pictures attached), and temperature changes cause popping noises that sound like rice crispies. A temporary fix, such as a sealant in a few places is not a remedy. I need a complete re-installation. As I write this, I am sitting here wondering how long before the whole roof comes apart at the seams. I have given QE more than ample time (including the 90 days required by law) to resolve this issue with me. When you first contract with QE, they will hound you to write a great review based on their first consultation with you. These are super good salesmen, and they know those reviews benefit them. I strongly suggest you do your homework before you hire QE. Small Claims court is next.

In addition, installed a pedestal sink, bead board, shower walls, and refloored our sunroom. They did such a top notch job, we had them come back to do two ceiling fan installs and a couple light fixture installs as well. The pricing was the best we found and the quality of the work vs. value could not have been better. Highly recommend!!

We went from a ninety degree angle to two forty-five degree angles... Requiring us to have a new door and a fake drawer built and stained to match the other cabinets. He had to create a frame for that door and its frame on site. I wish I could show you a picture, because there's no way you would be able to guess which door was the specially created door since it fits in so well with our other cabinets. Thank you Mark.
