Delivery was smooth, and they were nice too-which matters when you're letting them in your home. And the fee was actually low enough I found myself concerned they covered their cost. The only thing for us was that the store is three stories high and my Nana can't climb stairs well so she couldn't look at everything that was in stock. Their personable and knowledgeable staff presented us with low-pressure options which fit our decor, and our bodies. I should mention here that I am six foot three, and weigh two hundred and forty-four pounds. My wife is half my size. The staff of Stonington's educated us, and fitted us to the proper size chairs which have become a necessary part of our daily comfort. Stressless furniture is so comfortable, well made, and beautiful, that we've since populated our home with three more stressless couches. Even the strongest of war-horses becomes a bit sway-back after being ridden hard, and in 2024, my chair developed a bit of a dip. Close examination showed that ten years of me had weakened one of the seat springs. We called Stonington's, and they immediately began to set things right. They assessed the chair, and ordered the necessary part from Norway. When the part arrived, they came to my house and picked up the chair in the morning. At two-thirty that afternoon, they called and asked if they could deliver the chair back to me that same day. Throughout this entire process, the people at Stonington's were patient, pleasant, and accommodating. The cost for all of this was $0. My newly refurbished chair is back on line, providing me now with stressless comfort and the sure certainty that my purchases from Stonington's include customer service that is both rare and dependable. "Thankyou" seems a meager response, but my future recommendations to friends will be heartfelt and exuberant. My loyalty to Stonington's has been well earned. Thank you.

Not only did they deliver the dresser but they put it where we wanted it and took away our old dresser for us free of charge as well. I highly recommend them. Five of us went here and my mission: find a tea towel that can be used (and not just looked at) for my new vanity bathroom. The price tag was steep: $38... there was no way i was paying that kind of money. This is important. Why? Because of what happened next...the owner was kind enough to walk me through the walkway (tons of great items) to the downstairs (more?) where I was shown some other tea towels. Didn't find what I was looking for though. So what did i purchase? $1700 worth of John Robshaw bedding. Yes. I turned around and saw THE MOST beautiful bedding ever. I just said "that's it. That is my spare bedroom". I ordered every piece except for a small pillow. Service is amazing. They had some free cookies at the front and although someone was guarding over it, i took four of them. I was hungry! This is a fantastic shop, full of something for everyone. I'll be back next year and maybe then I'll buy a tea towel.
