As I was walking up to the cash register after completing my shopping , one of the guys what's up to me with the spice! He must've looked for quite a while; There's never a long line at the cash registers. And employees are always friendly.

I needed to get some stuff for a LSU - Bama football party. The young lady in the deli area was like disconnected from the universe, I told her everything needed but after she handed me my first pound of cheese she vanished into the back but NEVER RETURNED!!!!! Finally I just went and got some prepackaged cheeses and meats. Maybe Aliens from outer space abducted her who knows!!!! Finally after again going around pallets blocking the aisles I pick up the beer, wine and margarita stuff and make my way to check out. What the HELL !!!!!!!! No LIVE CHECKERS AVAILABLE !!!! 4 check yourself lanes but 2 are cash only!!!! Who the F carries cash anymore or at least enough to pay out groceries and alcoholic beverages for a LSU PARTY! The parking lot and inside the store is beautifully kept clean. Spacious yet small. The friendly employees make it so nice to shop there. I had my quarter ready to get a buggy and an older man gave me his. I tried giving him my quarter and he said no because someone had given him the buggy when he got there. So when we left I did the same thing and passed the buggy along. I spent about $25 on just meat which after bagging up I got 13 meals out of for our family. Spent $107.00 and got so much more than we would had at another store.

Someone compared it to Trader Joe's but definitely not as they don't have grab and go type meals. They do have lots of produce, meats and cheeses, frozen foods, and dry foods plus some home decor items. For some reason, it felt more like a warehouse to me as many items on display were in their shipping boxes opened up to grab one or many. The store was very open with high ceilings and no wait to check out as it's mostly self-checkout. Advised to bring your own bags. Some brands I recognized and some I did not. I saw employees stocking inventory and some at a customer service register but not a one greeted me, so again not like Trader Joe's. I have since been told of some specialty items to look out for, so rest assured, I'll be back for the "red bag chicken" aka "the chick-fil-a knock off chicken". Per advice from a friend, "If done right, air fryer or even in the oven, it's so good!! We call em (and I'm gonna spell as we pronounce in Southern accent) Chickee-feelays. Or chickees for short ."

They also have the cheesecake as well. I will definitely be back for this. I was able to call the bakery before I went to ensure they had the cake before I went. The bakery answered the phone quickly and the employee was courteous. The store was clean and there was plenty of parking. There were also several cashiers at the check out, which moved the lines quickly.
