I called reschedule, then gentlemen that answered the phone told me it was because I need a surgical dentist so he booked me in for another date. I had expressed how I need this molar pulled as its causing me such great discomfort. He put me on hold to check then gave me my appointment. I arrived today to once again told by this dentist they can't do it either must book with a surgical dentist I said that who i was supposed to see. So once again. Im out money for 2 days and having to pay a driver to drop me off . Im on Disability and can't afford losing $$ and now im broke and have to sit here for 2hrs for a free ride. I don't have any money to get a ride back another day. The dentist I did see was trying to wiggle and push on the tooth to see how loose it was and now is bothering more than usual. They just said nothing they could do, nor had any interest. I asked what can I do for the pain..she said Advil and told me it will probably be a month to see the surgeon as they are only in 1x month. So I sit and wait in pain. Broke and frustrated they said even then there is no guarantee he could remove it????when it was their clinic that did a root canal on it and now it sits my sinus cavity.

Oliver is my primary dentist although over the years I have seen most. when I had any major work done ie implants, they helped me with a plan to pay in instalments. Incredibly rude, and they speak over you when you try to talk. I was trying to tell them to inform me about the claim before they submit it to my insurance company, and instead of responding professionally, she was incredibly hostile. She put words in my mouth and kept trying to pick a fight when all I was asking to do was inform me of the charges and spoke over me when I was trying to explain what I was asking for and explain why. I wasn't even disputing charges, and had said I would pay the amount. Don't bother with this place when you can't even get professional service as you walk through the door. I'm sure there are plenty of other dentist clinics who are professional and won't try and fight you when asking for transparency.

Legitimately the worst experience I have had with any company in my life. Originally went in to…read morehave one chip fixed on my teeth. The dentist seemed genuine, and said he could fix my front teeth with composite. It was an up sell for sure, due to them being closed during COVID, but who wouldn't go for a flawless smile if offered? I mentioned to him that several other dentists had said I need veneers to fix my front teeth, he said that wasn't the case, and could deliver a perfect smile. I went ahead with the additional services, and it was a nightmare. The Dentist Dr. Navid Milani took a total of 3 attempts to try to get the work right, I quickly learned that he was not experienced, a liar, and filled with excuses. On the first appointment, he tried to fill in lines on my teeth with a shade that absolutely didn't match. He then tried to cover half of the tooth, which again didn't match. Afterward, we came to an agreement that he would cover the entire teeth, giving them a uniform finish. He tried on the third appointment to get the tooth fully covered. In the process, he got some acid etch on my tongue, cracked a joke, and continued working. He was struggling during this session as well, simply unable to delivery what he promised. It was then I realized the type of people working on my mouth. On my forth appointment, he went back on his promise "to make the teeth perfect". He began to play the fool, putting on blue cool lighting, rather than warm yellow lighting where the discoloration was very apparent. He began to say "I don't see the discoloration". He began to say that the teeth needed veneers, which is what I mentioned to him prior! He said, if I knew you were so picky, I wouldn't have done this procedure. So essentially, he wanted to do the bare minimum approach, even if it didn't look right. Extremely disappointed with the poor ethics, and general contractor like logic that this dentist follows. We then got into a heated discussion, and he said he is no longer comfortable working on my teeth. Frankly, I was no longer comfortable with the office overall, but gave them a honest shot to rectify their mistakes. He simply lacks the capacity to do the job right. My smile is literally destroyed, pieces of the composite are disintegrating day by day, missmatch shading on the partial composites. I visited another practice today and they concur that this was indeed a botched job. My teeth now require thousands of dollars to fix, all from a can of worms they unraveled. Dr. Navid Milani repeatedly said "don't be so picky with your smile". Teeth are something people have to look at everyday, and I was fine with looking at the imperfections I was born with. Forgive me, but I am not okay with imperfections put on me by another person's lack of skill/care/etc. Attached is a photo of the work done. You can notice bits missing on corner teeth, mismatched shading, and overall unnatural looking job. There is a very good reason why there are few (if any) before and after photos of their cosmetic work. Angelina is extremely disingenuous , and does not keep her word either. Rather than rectifying this issue, they rather keep piling fake reviews. When they decide to reach out to rectify this issue, I will revise this.

Even though I moved out of the neighbourhood, I still enjoy making the trip here to see Dr. Chan, Tiffany and Mabel. They are all super kind and caring and make the best team ever! Dr. Chan is very knowledgeable and thorough in explaining things and makes sure you are comfortable with every decision made. I am impressed with the consistency and professionalism of the practice throughout the years, especially even during the COVID pandemic. The waiting room and procedure rooms are always kept clean and tidy. They also play great movies and tv shows which help ease your nervousness!

At the end of each session, the dentist will come in the room just to check if I have any cavities. I didn't like my old dentist, which both my parents still go to. I needed a change. I have been seeing Dr. Clarence Lau for all my needs ever since. His office is a five-minute drive from my home. Dr. Lau is a competent, friendly dentist. He has addressed a couple of odd chipped teeth that I have had in the past. The first one required a second appointment. The other one was my front tooth and was so minor that he made the fix right on the spot, after my usual teeth cleaning, which I appreciated. I still can't tell to this day that my teeth were chipped! He is also skillful when redoing a few of my old silver fillings with tooth-coloured ones. He is the best. The only gripe that I have is dealing with the administrative staff. I understand that they pull estimates before my appointment, to determine whether my dental plan will cover everything and whether I need to cough up the difference. Over the years, my plan has changed where they can get a yes or no from my insurance company, but not details. The details require my agreeing to reveal them. In the past, they would call me for the details. I said that I do not want to be doing this procedure every six months. Last Wednesday, I had an appointment for regular cleaning and a checkup. My new dental hygienist was friendly and did a great job cleaning my teeth. I typically don't have issues with my teeth. I'm that type of person who brushes with an electric toothbrush and flosses, doing both tasks twice a day. I suppose that good dental hygiene came with having braces for a few years back in grade 5. Anyway, as I sat in the waiting room the other day, one of the administrative staff was on the phone with my insurance. She then called me over to talk to some guy and she asked for approval for more details. I first asked whether I would have to speak with him every time I go to a dental appointment. He explained to me that the dental office needs to allow five days for an estimate to go through. I relayed that basic information to the administrative person. She said that she would explain the whole thing later. After my dental appointment, this administrative woman went into the whole calendar year period that my plan runs on and when she needs to pull an estimate. I explained to her that I should not be involved in her internal procedures with my insurance and in providing authorization for an estimate because she can't do her job. I am here as a patient to go in for my appointment, get the dental care that I need, and have my insurance cover the cost. I do not want to be involved listening in on a call that covers her work task and speaking to my insurance because she was late getting her act together. It was highly unprofessional. Anyway, I like getting an invoice at the end saying that I have nothing to pay. The invoice also states when my next appointment is, so I have a record of it. I also like the travel-sized dental floss and toothpaste, and dentist-branded toothbrush that I get after each appointment. It feels like I got a party favour... haha! (183)

I contacted the office and was told my insurance did not pay for this service. After 4-5 calls back and forth with my insurance co and the office I learned that it was paid for back in March. The receptionist did not apologize for her error and wasting my time, in fact, she gave me attitude - very unprofessional! The dental hygienist told me I had to had my blood pressure taken before I got any work done. She was not aware that plus sized people need a large cuff or you get a false reading. I had to go to my doctor to find this out. This is something she should have known! I will find an office that does not put me out in these ways.
