I left this original post for Legal Dynamics, but I am compelled to post under We the People, as…read morewell. This company referred LD to me and needs to be held accountable. After I called to complain yesterday about LD, We the People, according to Sharon, contacted Legal Dynamics to sort of give them a heads up. This is not ACCEPTABLE. This is bullying. BEWARE.. RUN AWAY. This is a SCAM. This business was referred to me by We the People, of Yonkers New York. My experience with We the People was incredible and the costumer service was even better. Always answered my calls, returned my calls and corresponded with me via email through the whole process. I hired/retained this company in October of 2017 and made my additional payment of $595 for an Addendum on October 25, 2017. After submitting my paperwork from my divorce I thought I was beginning my QDRO process. I have never been divorced so not having gone through any of this I was extremely naive and vulnerable. Let me begin, this company does NOT takes your calls, whatsoever, they do not have a corporate email account nor do they wish too.(I was told my Sharon, Lawyers do not email.) I did email several times to the new.client email to see when my paperwork could be started. No response ever. I have only spoken with Admin, Sharon Williams and Julie a minimal amount of time and only because I kept calling to receive some answers. June 4, 2019 -- After 7 months of no word from QDRO, I called yesterday multiple times, and I was told the number I was calling from was put on the list for calling too much. It has been flagged. Julie then proceed to tell me "the place I am calling is filled with very educated people with many years of education under their belt and that I maybe did not understand what they were doing there. Judges were always on the phone. I told her I have many years of education as well, with a Bachelor and Master's degree. Julie then proceeded to tell me that is why I am so difficult it is typically the educated ones that make such a fuss?????" Contradiction upon Contradiction. Yesterday, June 4 was the first and only email I have ever received from Admin, Sharon Williams or any email since my initial process and payment was taken. After a very rude, personal insulting phone call on all levels. I was told by Sharon Williams that I was" stupid, a stupid woman, and that I should never be married again. " I cannot pick men" She went on to tell me the jurisdiction of my case had expired after a year, which was November 14. I started the process with QDRO in October, so the paperwork should have been backed dated and this company should have fought for me and been my advocate. I was very upset and told her I had read very negatives reviews on Yelp and should have read them before I hired this firm. SHARON WILLIAMS, then went on to tell me, "since you like to read reviews and leave voicemails that by bosses can hear, you (me) are now going to go on Yelp and write an incredible review for my company before I even decide to take your case on for the additional work, the fee for this additional paperwork is $1500 (on top of my already $2000 paid) if you leave a good enough review and IF I feel I want to be your advocate, I will drop the price down by $300." But call me tomorrow and I will see how I feel." I hung up. She also went on to assume I got divorced to just proceed with the QDRP paperwork. Let me say how unbelievable her words were. Granted I am sure people do all sorts of things, but I am engaged to be married and my ex-husband is in a very serious relationship as well. Not to mention we were separated long before the divorce became final. But how is this any of her business? Sharon Williams also proceeded to tell me, We the People, Claims department called her to inform of her my complaint to them of QDRO. I said yes, I am allowed to not be happy with the services or lack there of, I am receiving. She screamed and yelled at me and told me how dare I do that and now, I have agitated her and she is unsure if she wants to be my advocate, and how only people like me leave bad reviews. This firm is a scam, I believe she intentionally waited the day after my one year anniversary and used stalling tactics to now want to charge me an erroneous fee of $1500 and so kindly take off $300 if I leave a good review on Yelp. THIS IS blackmail!!!!!!!!!!! I asked Sharon to put it in an email to me, put it in writing, she said NO. Then why would I leave a review without services rendered I asked her. For some odd reason, it also bothered her that my ex husband and myself were on very good terms and wish to keep things amicable for our children. He was also on board in with helping. Why is it wrong I had his cooperation? I do not even know where to begin with this company, I am out $2000 dollars, this woman had me in tears she was so abusive over the phone. Where am I now left standing? What happens now? Whom do I contact?

Mr. Russell Morgan is a competent attorney. However, he depends too much on delegation. It is…read moreperfectly fine for an attorney to assign legal drafting to a competent paralegal so long as whatever product that unlicensed legal professional produces is CAREFULLY reviewed by a licensed attorney. Furthermore, while a paralegal can certainly assist in legal research, they should not be the ones doing legal counseling. When a client calls the office with a substantive legal question, someone licensed to practice law needs to answer that question. Attorney Morgan's prices for estate planning are high compared to other similar firms in NYC - they are not unreasonable but on the higher end. Regardless of what you are paying for legal services, you should expect competent representation, but when you are spending a premium, you expect to see the value. At the very least, you should not wait months for straightforward legal documents to be produced, nor should you have to constantly chase down the attorney to keep the ball rolling. And no matter how high-end or low-end a law firm is, you should never receive a final document littered with errors. However, that is precisely the experience Mr. Morgan provided. We received a deed document transfer that had the wrong name listed, the wrong LLC listed (one that was not associate with us at all), and the wrong buyer attorney listed. And no, it is not as if they sent the wrong documents because the information was correct in some places. The issue is that Mr. Morgan delegated the drafting of the document to someone who did an incredibly sloppy job, and Mr. Morgan failed to review the document before having us sign it. Worse was that there was very little accountability. Yes, he apologized when the situation was brought to his attention, but then he proceeded to make numerous excuses, one being that the company he uses to draft the documents doesn't usually make mistakes like that. Even if that is accurate, and this is a rare mistake, he still obviously did not review the documents before having us sign and notarize them. If this was a review for the final approval situation, fair enough, though even then, it's not a great practice to send your client documents that haven't been proofread. But again, this was a notarized document with several glaring errors - unacceptable. I am sorry, but there is never an excuse for an attorney to produce delayed and sloppy work. I. do not care how busy your firm is, part of being in this profession is knowing how to manage your case load. You either need to hire more attorneys or accept less cases, but what you cannot do is send out legal documents that have not been reviewed. This was not only an unpleasant experience. I dare say it was incompetent to the point where I am seriously considering contacting the Bar.
