I went to one of the stores in the center and was highly recommended to call these guys. Next morning I called and within a couple of hours, a tow truck came to take my car. Being as it was a Saturday I was willing to wait till Monday or Tuesday to find out what was up with my car. The shop called me and let me know my front axle was broken and needed to be replaced. The price was very reasonable and with the tow I spent less than 400.00. They got the job done for me and I was able to drive it away the same day of the quote. The worst. Gave my insurance one price quote ($59) for a tow two towns over, then added $15 when I…read morecalled to pay the balance. Said they NEEDED to take the highway and they charge a flat rate of $15 because that's the median toll price for the PA Turnpike. There is one $2 toll to go through. I understand bigger trucks cost more but I'm certain it's not that much. And with them not able to even arrive to the car until 6:05pm, the traffic wouldn't that bad taking back roads and avoiding the tolls. I checked on Waze and there was less than a 10 minute difference at 6:15 to take back roads. You're not making me wait an hour and a half for a pickup and then upcharging me to save you just a few minutes. When I protested their failure to stick to the original price quote they told me to go elsewhere for a tow. Really cool way to interact with customers in need. Before canceling with them I called my insurance and told them they changed the price and they were able to locate me someone who could do it for $36. Called them and they were really easy to work with. Half the price and not jerks, what a find. Stay away from Areal Trans. Not nice people providing bad service for bad prices. Call around elsewhere. It's worth it.
