This lack of transparency and poor communication is unacceptable, especially for a professional accounting firm. For the first time in my life I owed the government money. Yikes! Not wanting to go down without a fight I decided to enlist some professional support. I was referred to Kraft Berger by Will W. and was glad he passed on the info. For the initial meeting I brought in all my documentation. We briefly reviewed my tax history, he asked some pertinent questions and sent me on my way. Very smooth and seamless. A few days later, one of his employees gave me a shout to clarify a few things. Again no big deal. Now, the only thing that stopped this from being a 5 star review was the overall speed of service. From the initial meeting to the final meeting the total time was over 4 months. They're a busy firm and I'm obviously small potatoes to them but things should have progressed a little faster. Near the end there were a few loose ends to tie up which were easy and painless. And all-in-all they were able to cut my tax bill in half! Hooray! I will definitely be sending my taxes here to be prepared in future years.
