He charges his clients hundreds of dollars in consultancy fees in which he gives WRONG advice to his clients for the most common basic annual tax issues. First he tells his client to complete the wrong taxation form that was contradicted by REAL professionals who work at Revenue Canada who said not only was it the wrong form, but if filed according to Rono's instructions would have caused the client to unnecessarily pay thousands of dollars in hard earned savings by unnecessary early withdrawal of pension funds. Not only is calling Revenue Canada for instructions free, but they actually know what they are talking about and provides correct instructions on what to do. Rono doesn't even know the basics of the Canadian Tax Code which makes him an incompetent accountant. Furthermore, when he was confronted with the accurate information from Health Canada, instead of advocating for his client, his response was condescending and actually had the nerve to say to the client, "since your employer also contributes to the pension, what's it to you to lose thousands of dollars in savings?" I went to the CRA website to change my address information in Sep and it said I hadn't filed my taxes this year. I was left confused and really disappointed. I had no idea I was leaving my personal taxes to be attended to so unprofessionally. From not filing my taxes to not responding to me. Attached is the reply I received from them. They finally filed my taxes from Feb in Sep (only 8 months late). Please do not use this service. They didn't even offer me a refund and stopped replying to my emails. Save yourself the headache I went through. Taxes require professionalism and this company cannot offer that.
