Derek came out and made recommendations that matched what our decorator said. The price was competitive (we went thru Costco). Kevin, Jay and a different third person were amazingly hard and dedicated workers. We have 3 staircases with a unique layout (thru our entire home). From carpet selection at showroom with Alex and Gale, carpet measurement by Derek, and installation by Kevin, the team was very knowledgeable, patient and professional. We were especially impressed and grateful for Kevin who did a phenomenal job installing the carpet and reinforcing subfloor at the same time. Wonderful service in the beginning. Brought samples to my house. They did not have a large variety of colors. They all looked tinged with gray. I don't know. They really tried but I could not get on their vibe. In store was the same. Nice owners but limited carpetin and colors. Did not feel sure about them. read more

This is the 2nd time going through Costco and using Ron's Carpet & Design to get flooring for the rest of our main floor. Derek came out with samples, he measured and the next day I stopped at their showroom to bring home samples to lay out in our great room & dining room/kitchen/laundryroom. My husband and I each chose a color of flooring and finally made a decision. Alex helped load my SUV & also removed the 6 or 7 large samples from my vehicle. We placed our order and left a deposit. Alex notified me when they had 3 straight days on their calendar. June 30-July 2, 2025. Ken & his son Gavin were our installers this time. They moved the larger furniture into the kitchen area & started carpet tear out in the great room. I was so happy to see that carpet gone from our condo! They actually got the whole room installed the same day. Day 2 ended up being completion day. The large kitchen area was torn out and completed the same day. Ken & Gavin moved our appliances and worked around the other areas and it all came together nicely. Ken had to request some matching quarter round for our fireplace that came in 1 week later. Alex called and I scheduled Ken to come back to finish that area around the fireplace. We are so happy to get this large job completed. We also received a Costco check for a % of the cost of our flooring. I took 1 star off because it seemed like they didn't have a shop vac to clean up wood slivers and staples in the whole kitchen/laundry room area before they left on day one. This is our second time getting flooring from Ron's Carpet for our second condo. I don't see where I can post photos. read more

Unlike the other reviews (which I have to say I didn't read prior to purchasing from Ron's Carpet, Costco's merchant of choice) we were happy overall with the transaction. The price Derek quoted was competitive and the frosting on the cake is that we will be receiving a Costco Shop Card with a substantial amount on it. There was one little hiccup in that our carpet didn't come in when expected but Alex followed up with the manufacturer and the carpet was delivered within a week or so after the original promised date. Alex was diligent and kept us up to date with the status of the carpet and its delivery. The installers, Rick, John and another Rick were on time, pleasant and did a very nice job. We are enjoying our new carpet. read more

We went through Costco for our flooring needs and Ron's carpet was who Costco uses in our area for their installs. While the flooring the installed was done well and is beautiful the finishing and the damage caused to our home is what makes me leave such a bad review. They removed carpet from our stairs which we mentioned both to the owner and the crew that we were going to refinish the stairs under the carpet as they were beautiful and original to the home and to please be careful. We were assured they would take care of it. Halfway through the removal of the tack strips I stopped the man working and pointed out they they were scratching the stairs a lot due to the crowbar looking tool they were using to scrape up the tack strips and to please use the proper tool and be careful. The next day during the staple removal they again use the crowbar tool and left deep gouges in our treads going up the stairs, deep enough that they cannot be simply sanded out. Our treads will now have to have some major work done to them and possibly replaced. They were in great condition before they damaged them. In our upstairs hall they jacked against our baseboards to lay the flooring, creating dents all along the hall. When this was brought to their attention it did not occur on the downstairs hallway. I assume downstairs they decided to use a backer board as they should have upstairs. The baseboard will need to be replaced upstairs. They took off the original wood pantry bi fold doors and reinstalled them incorrectly, chipping them in the process. They came back to fix them and puttied the doors but they were still done wrong and putting putty in them does not fix them. The shoe molding they installed was not placed properly in several spots, some pieces not even nailed in, some not cut to size correctly. They rushed this job to get it done instead of taking the their tome. Numerous calls to the owner who said he would come out or send his dad to fix. They never came. I would not hire this company again. The Costco rebate we received will not even cover the damage to the stairs. read more

I was so disappointed in this place. I had heard some good things and couldn't wait to get there and pick my carpet. The salesgirl was completely clueless. Everything I told her I didn't want she showed me. Not knowledgeable at all. The 2 employees at their desk couldn't be bothered W my questions. They looked annoyed. I'll never go back. I drove over to Ultra Floors and their service was so impeccable I picked out my carpet and made my appointment right there! read more

Ron's carpet did hardwood and carpet for us. They were extremely courteous and the product is wonderful.

The entire experience of selecting my carpet and the installation was exceptional. The installers took great care with attention to detail when they installed the carpet, cleaning up better than I've ever seen workmen do after the carpet was in place. They arrived at the promised time. I definitely will use this company again when I'm ready to have other rooms carpeted. read more
