Mr. Robinson was extremely professional and a truly experienced climber with expert saw skills. It was amazing to watch him drop tree limbs exactly as he planned out with his ground crew. Michael managed his team with authority and prioritized safety - literally from "top to bottom". High Climbers Tree Care was efficient and conscientious, the entire project was completed flawlessly. I could not ask for greater satisfaction. Highly recommended, excellent job, in fact, I have referred Mr. Robinson to three (3) more people - and his team already assisted my parents with taking down two (2) big Maples. I needed someone to come out and work on my elderly mothers yard as she was getting compliments from the neighbors. After he was done I couldn't believe it was the same house. The work he did on the garden bed and even the back yard where my childhood play house is looked completely different, now I feel comfortable letting my kids play in the front and the back yard at my mom's. The price was great compared to the other places I quoted( in the economy every dollar counts) and no surprises and service was quick and smooth. About a month ago, they came out and planted new grass around my flower beds, mulched my flower beds, planted some arborvitaes, and created a new landscape bed around the arborvitaes. When they planted the grass around my flower beds, they were sloppy and got grass into my flower beds, which I've never had before. They did seem to do a good job of planting the arborvitaes. They did a really hurried and sloppy job of putting the new landscape bed around my arborvitae. Within weeks, tons of weeds showed up in the landscape bed. Mulch in the new landscape bed was barely 1 inch thick if that and washed away with recent rains we've had. They told me they put 2 inches down but that's not true at all. I reached out to them about my issues; they didn't really seem to care. They eventually sent out their operations manager to take a look, and he told me it was happening because of the type of mulch that was put around my landscape bed. The thing is, they recommended this type of mulch for what I wanted. If it was going to wash away and not be a good choice, they should have mentioned that to me as that is why I paid them. They then wanted to charge me extra to remulch the landscape bed that they originally messed up. They also suggested I pay extra for removing the grass that they planted in my flower beds and the weeds that they didn't properly take care of. I refuse to pay for more mulch to fix something they didn't do properly the first time. Because I am unable to remove the weeds and I want my flower beds looking nice. Due to this I begrudgingly paid the extra for the landscape maintenance package. Someone came out and did a quick spray of my flower beds and said the weeds would be gone in a few days. It's been eight days later, and there is really not that much of a change in the weeds except that they've grown taller and the grass is also still growing in my flower beds. For the landscape maintenance package that cost over $100 a month, I would've thought they would've done more. Right now, I'm going to continue the landscape maintenance package to hope that they actually do the right thing and fix this. But I am not very happy with what they have done so far! The funny ending to this is they sent me an email asking me to review them on their website. After trying it on several different devices and computers i've come to the conclusion that review site does not let you submit a review. It does not work. Maybe it's because they don't want anyone to actually submit a review, but I don't know for sure. As you can probably tell, I am not happy with what I've seen so far.
