When I got there they directed me to park my truck by a specific pile of dirt. When the tractor went to get the bedding mix they didn't pull from that pile, it was a pile behind it. It was pouring so I sat in the truck. In hindsight I guess I should have checked the product prior to it being put into my truck. When I got home and started to unload the dirt I quickly realized that what I got was more like fill dirt. Some of what I saw in the mix included plastic pieces, rubber, dried chunks of dirt, pieces of brick, stems of plants, small weeds, clay, and lots of rocks. Update 1: I called them and said I must've received the wrong thing because the soil i got had rocks and bricks in it. He says he remembers that it was raining and to come by and they'd give me another load no charge. Update 2: I work in Avon but live closer to Brunswick so I arranged to pick up the soil at the Brunswick location. I asked to look at the soil before it was put into my truck, it looked good. The bed mix had some larger rocks but I don't think that was really out of the ordinary. But, in addition I also found a pair of black men's Hanes underwear. A couple rocks are to be expected but not underwear. At this point I'm calling it quits, don't even want them to rectify this, I'll just go elsewhere when I need soil.

Our development at Port West in Avon Lake contracts with them so we get whomever they pick - clearly not the best but the cheapest I guess. They cut our grass to the nub regardless of whether or not it needs to be trimmed and/or cut. They also fertilize on top of crispy grass with no rain in the forecast so it sits on top or it blows down to the curb. The cherry on top is their absolute lack of understanding of basic plant maintenance. Mind you, we homeowners purchase and plant everything ourselves so it's not Green Impressions property. They decided to butcher our 10 (TEN) Forsythia bushes without our permission nor our knowledge. First they started with 2 of them towards the front of our home and left it there to which we immediately contacted our HOA to stop service. We then saw the next day that they went ahead and severely trimmed the remaining 8 Forsythias. It's on the windowless side of our home so we didn't even know someone was out there doing the work. A simple google search will inform even the dumbest of landscapers that severely pruning a spring blooming bush in the middle of July will most likely prevent the next season's bloom. What's the recourse? We have received no note, phone call, email, visit to explain to us what they plan on doing to make it right. I write this as I watch the crew cutting our burnt lawn yet again - they don't miss a week whether or not it needs it. Many neighbors signed a waiver to have them skip their homes and trimming was done at their properties anyways. Do NOT hire this company!
