Day before my scheduled appointment I get a text showing my 9:00am appt. A little later I get a voicemail indicating I needed to change which PA would see me - no problem. I call in, change docs. Arrive at my appointment ON TIME. I wait an hour, watching people go in, people who arrived after me go in. I go to desk, she says, your appointment is for 10:30. I say no, the text and voicemail said 9:00. The woman sitting in the scheduling chair turns and says (not to me) I called her but I don't know who she spoke to when she called back. I return to my seat, find the voicemail that says 9:00, go up and show the desk clerk and the scheduling woman doesn't let me finish and says AGAIN, not to me, I CALLED HER IT WAS 10:30! Here's the thing, I'm going to wait no matter what, I need the meds and blood draw. We all make mistakes, myself included, a little courtesy from either clerk, an apology, (sorry for the confusion) would have been appreciated. I work in customer service and the attitude, tone, and behavior of the scheduling woman would be something they could be fired for at another institution . To have that experience at the doctor is enough to give me pause to change doctors. Very disappointing and leaves a very bad taste in regards to this office.

Go somewhere else. Don't use this place…read more The doctors here aren't capable of anything beyond assuming that you have whatever happens to be going around. I have used them simply because they were close and a friend recommended them. I have procrastinated finding a new doctor, but this place has finally pushed me too far. A couple of years ago, I got sick. Had a nasty cough, caused me to pass out. Went in and they assumed I had whatever was going around. They prescribed me their standard go-to antibiotic. After a full regimen of that, which didn't work (surprise), they prescribed a stronger antibiotic which also didn't work. Then after that they prescribed a steroid. That didn't work either. But guess what... The entire time they were stabbing in the dark. No tests, no scientific analysis. Nothing. Just looked at symptoms and made assumptions. They never did me any good so I stopped going in to see them. The cough eventually went away by itself but after maybe 2 months. More recently, I went in. Had had a fever and a bad sore throat. They tested for strep which came back negative, but after that, they told me "There's no way to know" what I had and assumed it was a virus. Because guess what... It's not like we have labs. Or science. Or microscopes. No way to know!? Whatever. Who gave these people their licenses to practice medicine!? On top of that, this last time I went in, I paid up front. Then I asked at the end what I owed because I figured the strep test might cost me something. I was told that I didn't owe anything else. Until I got a bill in the mail... Months later. Such a scam.

I have been going there for many years and would recommend P.A. Goodall to anyone. However, I used to go to Dr. Mrnestic. That all stopped when he told me I could/would never have children... as he was backing out the door while my husband and I were trying to ask him questions. I didn't matter to him. So, I left and went with Ashley and I am so glad I did. She is a breathe of fresh air. Not to mention I got pregnant without any medical assistance and she is now 5 years old.

I absolutely love Josephine Mogeni, who is a primary PA at Topcare family clinic in Garland on…read moreBroadway. I was fortunate enough to meet her when I started going there two years ago. She has so much compassion and is very knowledgeable. She listens without making you feel rushed And she just has a wonderful bedside manner. Most doctors don't like to talk to me, or I should say they don't listen to me when I speak about things I am experienced with. It's as if it's a blow to their ego maybe for lack of a better term. I spent 16 years as a caregiver for my mom and much of that time was studying her multiple comorbidities. I studied antibiotic classes that cause the dreaded C Difícil disease because she had that several times and often when I ask what class of antibiotic an urgent care clinic or other doctor that has prescribed some thing like that without actually knowing what the problem is, well, they seem to get perturbed. I never get that feeling with her. On the contrary, she seems to appreciate the fact that I take responsibility for health issues, educating myself in the process. It may be out of your way, it may be in what you feel like is a Lower class area of town but if you are put off by that, then you are short changing yourself on your health. And finally, as a hands on full time caregiver, I was extremely frustrated with office staff at many of my mother's doctors office staff. Her staff has been long term, seem to be happy working there, and they are all kindly efficient, on the ball, PLUS, they speak Spanish, as well as English. The fact that they are very accommodating even opening up on Sundays makes them easy and hassle free to see. I had the pleasure of meeting the other PA at that clinic and I would have no problem seeing him in Ms Josephine''s absence. If you experience anything, less than a positive experience, I would, suggest you speak up. I am absolutely convinced they will go out of their way to address your issues. I only wish I had been able to bring my mother in there for her care. Had that been the case, she may still be alive today.
